Per Irish247, BK's in home is scheduled for Wednesday. He's unsure if he'll take the OV to A&M at this point. He's expecting other coaches in to see him this week. Loy thinks he could commit on BKs in home. In general they seem pretty confident

Hoping to see him cancel that OV to AM next weekend.

My observation has been, whenever Loy starts being positive, it's time to be negative.

"They were basically telling me how Notre Dame would be a great fit for me,” Williams said. “They were telling me how badly they want me and how they would use me. Because I’m very versatile, they would use me at slot and running back. Also, they were saying to try to see something different than Florida, to try to put myself in a situation where I’m uncomfortable instead of just being around something I’m used to.”

Someone on II (I think it was Prister) thinks Dexter commits to ND on NSD. I don't buy that at all. I think he commits to the staff on Wednesday, but that's up to him if he makes it public. I don't think there is anyway he can remain uncommitted all the way until NSD without losing his spot on this team

I think if he commits or has committed silently to BK and agreed to take no more visits ND would be okay and like the publicity it brings on NSD. It's somewhat of a gamble IMO, because you never know with these kids, but there also isn't a huge difference between a silent and public commitment anyway. Still just a verbal, non-binding agreement.

I hope it's public Wednesday though, personally.

I honestly have never understood silent commits. I mean, you are either in or you arent. How could anyone ever justify having to be silent? Afraid to catch grief from the locals? Cmon now!

And I definitely understand the commit Weds or ND has to assume it is a scratch. No way to sit until signing day. Williams will never be any more on the ND ship than what he will be come Weds and if that doesnt cut it, then it wont.

A silent commit means they are in. Meaning, they have told the staff but won't release it publicly for a variety of reasons such as still being able to announce it at a press conference or waiting until certain people know about it before the public knows.

To add, many of the services, and many of the AA games ask recruits to announce with them. They may also have relationships with other coaches at other schools that they want to notify prior to announcement as a courtesy.
