LOL which board is this?

BruinGold.com

Their recruiting board is members only (free registration). They have reasonable posters as well, but there are some real goofballs who do not know the first thing about college football.

Granted Golson didn't really throw to Eifert either.....

Thats not really true. In 2011 with Rees, Eifert had 63 rec. 803 yds. and 5 Td's. In 2012 with Golson (and some Rees sprinkled in) Eifert had 50 rec. 685 yds. and 4 tds. He also played in 13 games in 2011 and only 12 in 2012. Those number are negligible when you consider them on a per game basis.

So in 2011 he had 0.68 more receptions per game than 2012. That resulted in 4.67 more yards/game and 0.05 more Tds/game.

The main difference this year was that Koyack never developed into the down field threat that Eifert or even Niklas did. Koyack stepped up and filled a void and kudos to him for being an ironman (playing so many snaps) but every time he caught a pass, he looked as though he was looking to go down.

Alize would've been targeted the same amount as Koyak most likely. Koyak could've had more TDs and more catches but he simply wasn't targeted by the QB.

Hopefully our future QBs go through their progressions, because with this amount of talent, there will always be at least one person open.

Read above, when playing with a TE that is a down field threat Golson completed plenty of passes to Eifert. Koyack just isn't at the same level as Eifert, Niklas, or Alize in terms of athleticism.

To be fair, doesn't this describe like...every football forum?

This is one thing that could NOT be said about Niklas.

It seemed like we had Niklas run a lot more drag routes than Koyak though too. Seemed like Koyak ran a lot of outs, curls, and hitches. Could be due to athleticism.

No shit. That was the most absurdly illegal recruitment we've seen in a long time. Using a trainer and illicit contact to reach him post LOI.... and complaining about a completely legal connection to his HS friend.

They are such a stupid group of fans who don't understand their place in the world, nor what an absolute tool their coach is, nor how they will always be an also-ran in their own town much less conference.

Doesn't say Mora has anything to do with this (not directed at you LL). The may not, and probably are the words that pop to me. Leads me to thing a) this is Jones's decision and/or (b) he may not go at all as perhaps he already knows what he wants.

Finally able to log in. I guess it was the "and" LOL.

Booker as our middle relief and Kelly as our closer, I like our chances here!

Not needed. They had him at hello (per Lemming) LOL.

Jones and ESB would be great additions from the west coast.

Crazy goal line good. Twin Peaks

I have a hard time buying this. What in the hell is the point of not committing to ND then? Or now for that matter? It could only help us in recruiting. Why string UCLA along if he had no intentions of ever going there? Just doesn't add up.

because it's fun and BK ask him too :)

A friend of mine just told me that Alize is likely visiting Michigan now. Anyone hear any news about this?

Michigan fan?

HAHAHAHA all you folks with the wool pulled over your eyes still wanna claim that Harbaugh to UM is either a "good" thing or doesn't affect ND at all "since we don't play them"??

First win over JH?

Just went into full on creep mode to see what coaches he follows. Only coaches he follows are in fact only from Notre Dame and Michigan. From Michigan he only follows Harbaugh and a assistant while from ND he follows BK, Booker, Denbrock along with Winbush, Nicco and his dad. Think this account for him is strictly for recruiting.

Gonna go take a long shower and forget I just did that.

Thank you for being creepy for the rest of us Philly.

So when does this guy flip? NSD?

I know there were mixed reviews from the analysts on his all star week. Fwiw, when I watched bis hop Gorman play against the #1 team, alize stood out as the biggest freak on what was arguably the two best Hugh schools in the country.

How's his pecks?

After losing Jones, they need a savior. Enter Christ Clark.

.

More like the antichrist

Alize was our silent commit says Tom Lemming

who?

Thank goodness its nothing like IE!!!!

Did you forget italics, or is the sarcasm that obvious :)

Beat me too it.

Mr. Aliz'e, welcome aboard, and thank you for coming.

My biggest want this year.

What's the point of that? Do kids really eat that up? I'd rather you convince me the school will actually better my life, not tell me some fairy tale, futuristic biography. Maybe it's because I'm not 18, but I just think that whole thing is stupid and waste of time.

That seemed more than a little over the top. That being said, I had a buddy visit Brown (for hockey) and they had a jersey with his name on it in the locker room. When you're 18 and you see a major college program do something like that for you, it's pretty cool.

Aliz'e, welcome to the Irish. You've made a great choice that goes well beyond football. Your Notre Dame degree will serve you well for many years when your football playing days have ended. Notre Dame's history of producing NFL quality tight ends will give you an excellent opportunity to pursue any dreams you have of someday playing in the NFL.

We fans are excited to see you on the field. But we also will be excited to see you leave with your Notre Dame degree and join the network of Notre Dame alumni across the country.

I had to catchup on the posts.

Best part was piombino pulling his natural negative nancy routine about this recruitment before he committed.

Welcome aboard alize
