It's that autocorrect, or are you a 7th grader who thinks "Gay Bay" is clever?Poor guy is a Gay Bay fan.
The G on the helmet is for his high school, Bishop Gorman.

Hahaha.
Does no one see the Greenbay resemblance other than the G is on the wrong side of the helmet?
It's even mustard baby chit yellow.
lol, It's because it's turning gold dude. It's a riff on this theme:

TURNING gold.

So, gold transitions from blue, to baby chit yellow?
Got it.
Thanks.
Somehow I missed that in 6th grade art class.
Huge piece to this class, we have solid TEs now but this kids a difference maker. Was I the only one that missed the seam pass to the TE this year? He will bring it back
You may never see it again. If Kelly insists that the 5'9 or 10" Golsen pass from the pocket, the 6'8 or 10" linemen will have have a field day with tips and interceptions. The Arizona State defense will be the standard defense against us and he won't be able to utilize the tight end or the slant.

Agreed. I find the Golson fumbles to be way more troubling than the majority of the INTs. That ASU game was a lot closer than the final score suggested. After a horrific start (and re-watch the tape and you'll see that several turnovers weren't on Golson), Golson and the ND offense absolutely torched the ASU defense. If that's the blueprint, I'll take it all day long.
This post is ridiculous
Everett is about 6 foot, no linemen are 6'10. I understand wanting Kelly to move Golson around, but you are overstating this. It is not Golson's fault if the offensive tackles don't get the defensive end's hands down. The Golson hate has gone too far. Period. Also, every defensive lineman in history has been told to raise the hands if they cannot get the sack. Against Arizona State poor execution by the O-line and horrendous luck killed us. However, this was not some new blueprint that exposed Everett so that he will never be effective again.

Golson is nowhere near 6'0. He's 5'10 and that's being generous.
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. I posted stats in this thread earlier and Eifert as an example had marginal better stats with Rees vs. Golson. Koyack just isn't those guys so he wasn't gettig targeted. Sorry to be rude but I really hate when people make outlandish statements without actually having any information. Read first, post second.
I think that you are overreacting. I watched all of the games (and one in person) and Koyak was open frequently over the middle and the ball wasn't thrown to him. To argue otherwise is crazy. Now it might have been Golson's height or it might have been that Kelly put an emphasis on throwing the WRs this year but to pretend that Koyak wasn't open and to attack the poster like that and claim that he doesn't know what he is talking about is uncool. Sorry, that is bad form on your part.
Edit: You can attack his point without saying he doesn't have a clue and that he should read first and post second.
I'm not sure I can really overreact in this scenario. Obviously on a lot of plays, amatuer QB's will miss open WR's/TE's. If you objectively look at the information it's pretty clear that when he has a talented TE, he gets him the ball at the same rate as any other QB. I don't want to sound rude but its 100% obvious, it's numbers not your opinion.
Forget numbers. He was open and not getting the ball. The reason is either A. Golson didn't throw him the ball for some reason (height being the most likely, but there are other reasons), or B. Kelly put the emphasis somewhere else. It isn't just missing an open player occasionally. Against ASU (I was there) Koyak was frequently open in the middle of the field and wasn't thrown too. Enough so that the ASU fans around me were laughing about it and making jokes about it. Numbers only tell part of the story, to pretend that they tell the whole story is a mistake. That is your problem.
Edit: I am not just blaming Golson, just that Koyak wasn't given the ball enough when he was frequently open. As I pointed out it might have been a Kelly "emphasis" to get the ball to WRs.
Sorry you lost me at forget numbers and I won't read the rest of it. That is literally the worst thing any coach or player would ever say. Number are facts, your eye sight is subjective.
OT, so last post I make. Your second sentence proves my OP and that is Koyack was in-line because he didn't have the athleticism to be split out wide and create mismatches down the seam. He's not the TE that Eifert or even Niklas was so that's why the production dropped not because of Golson. Very simply Niklas averaged 5 yards more per catch than Koyack, that wasn't because of Rees's ability to throw down field.
