I don't get this. I mean, don't get me wrong- this is GREAT news for ND, but does this kid (or anyone) honestly believe he's going to get to UCLA and they're just gonna be like, "Derrrrrr, we no use in line TE. Guess ND wins!" ??? Obviously this kid is going to be sold a bill of goods. Proof is in the pudding.

Alize and Soso would be wonderful additions to this class, if not make the class complete. I would love another defensive recruit (or two).

Yeah...this is what I was thinking. Hoping BK has an in-home visit left to get to Alize after Mora's done lying to him.

Mora is a lieing cut and you know he'll convince Alize that they can do everything ND can with TEs on that visit, even if it's not true. I'm not saying I don't like our chances but I don't like them as much iF it truly.comes down to Mora convincing him of how they'll use him.

We still have an in-home and this may sound out there as he's currently committed to UCLA but I think UCLA has to do more here than ND. JMO.

Scout: his heart is at ucla but he will make the best choice for him. Will decide after BKs in home. Sounds like NDs academics and TE film has shown him exactly what he wants and he hasnt seen enough on the field from ucla to believe them.

I'm actually feeling confident about landing Alize, Soso and ESB. Throw in a safety like Jennings and I'd be a happy guy.

Alize and ESB, I agree but why Soso? Jennings we can land if we pursue hard, just don't think we are pushing for him, have no clue why not. He could be a good versatile athlete in the secondary

Just a gut feeling on Soso. We fit his criteria to a tee as to what he's looking for in a college. I think ND has definite interest in Jennings. I don't think he's in any hurry to make a decision. Wants to take all his visits.

I could be wrong, but Soso reminds me A LOT of Bryce Tregg's recruitment. We were always in 2nd according to him. But I knew a couple people at his h.s. back then and they told me he'd never end up at ND. But Bryce always maintained we were in 2nd. Anyway, he finally opened up his recruitment when Telford got fired and where did he visit? UCLA and USC. Not a mention of ND.

I feel like Soso is the same way. Just a gut feeling. He's not talking much, but what we do hear is that UCLA is trending big-time for him, ND in second, with visits to other schools always being mentioned. I honestly do not see him at ND, even if Mora bounces. But I could be WAY off here.

I agree with this, doesn't seem Soso is enamored with ND. He is close with Alford and his parents love ND and some even say his family favors ND however doesn't feel Soso really wants ND. If Mora leaves, it could get interesting however I think he will pull a surprise and go to A&M or even give UT some attention if Mora leaves before he commits to ND. Just doesn't feel like he really wants ND

I think you may be right. When it's all said and done, I think it finally comes out we were never really and option and only mentioned because his family liked ND. Hope we're both WAY off.

Well Mora for sure now is interviewing for the Jets job today or tomorrow per Bruins report online.
