Does Notre Dame finished ranked?
will be somewhere around 25-27 IMO
Does Notre Dame finished ranked?
pretty pedestrian coverage from ESPN on our victory.....
shocker

I'll take the win but LSU wasn't one of the top defenses in the SEC, hell they should've had 6 losses and they would've if the kid from Florida doesn't drop the ball in that game they lose, but congrats to the kids who played their asses off to get the win
Unranked team beats #23 doesn't usually get top billing. That said, the announcer above who messed up Golson and Folston also said "So much for the mighty SEC."
Also worth noting...he pronounced Prosise wrong, but about 50% of Irish Envy doesn't spell it right. #SEC bias

i thought this place would be jumpin...pretty quiet tonight
I don't want to a Debbie downer at the moment, but did Jaylon look a step slower than normal at times today? Or was that just him being gassed trying to chase LSU RB's sideline-to-sideline all day?
Redemption of Golson and Bridza. I like it.

My thoughts:
4. I thought Redfield made some very nice open field tackles today. He did get completely owned on the long pass to the TE, but other than that, I thought he was pretty good.
5. Robinson drops too many balls.
6. Stanley did nothing but help his NFL stock today, I'm sorry to say.
did I miss something here?

You are either ranked #1- #25, or you are unranked. There is no #27. Sorry, pet peeve of mine.

Let's give some major props to Cody Riggs. He was HUGE for us this year. We are going to miss him next year.
My thoughts:
1. Zaire looked more poised than the USC game. Very confident in the read/option. Only complaint is that I think he keeps it more than he should. Especially in short yardage situations. Teams will figure that out.
2. Unfortunately, I think this was Golson's last game in an ND uniform. In my opinion, regardless of how he played, I think Kelly has shown him the door.
3. I'm not sure who's responsibility it is to cover the middle of the field, but apparently every call that Van Gorder puts out there doesn't stress it.

7. Still would have like to see some more Greg Bryant, but what I like from Folston is that when he knows he can't get to the outside, he squares up to the end zone and goes for it. No angle runs. All North and South.
