Was anyone complaining when Zaire ran for 10 yards on 4th and 9? Suddenly going for it on 4th and 1 was a bad call? It was a great call, just a poor read by Zaire.

Know your opponents...LSU weak up the middle. Been discussed all week. They clearly had the 1st if Folston gets that up the middle. It's either a bad play call or a bad read...regardless there's reason to be upset by that....especially when they could've just taken the FG.

I need to address this. It was a fine read. He read the DE, who collapsed, so he kept it. It was a great defensive play call to fill in with 3 defenders to the outside when the DE collapsed. They expected the read and that's what happened.

Weren't in FG range then so it made sense. I would rather see us keep the momentum and go up 10. The defense just had a great 3 and out and the offense had two long plays. Never want to come up empty in that situation.

Anyone remember our recent kicking struggles? Going for it in hindsight is bad, but kicking the FG could have been just as bad. Getting the first there and scoring a TD could have been huge! Either way that part is over.
