Shut up. This is a ND football forum. This is where we come to get excited, celebrate, and discuss the shitty times too. It's not like we're turning to our friends and relatives talking like this. Leave us alone about caring/not caring about our football team on a football forum.

FWIW, Mike Frank over at ISD confirms he has not heard a thing. He and his guys have contacted their sources, and have heard absolutely nothing. Typically, if he has news to hide, he wouldn't post on the message board there on his own accord- he usually just goes dark until news drops if he's been instructed to not drop it himself.

He also, usually Nukes those types of threads. Since they are alive and kicking on the major ND boards, it would lend to some validity.

I stopped giving a shit in September (when ND was winning!) when my gigging schedule began to get in the way of me watching any college football, let alone the Irish.

I check here daily still. It's a habit. Don't get me wrong. Still love our Irish. Just don't get emotionally involved so much anymore.

It certainly allows me to see humor in pretty much every bad thing that happens.
