Riggs listed as a starter
I'd prefer he sat out another week to further rest the stress reaction. The Rx for a stress reaction is rest.
Riggs is vital against UL and USC.

Been saying that was the reason Rabasa was in since the F$U game.

BK: Kolin Hill hasn't played in recent weeks because staff felt other players were getting better pressure
— Irish Sports Daily (@ISDUpdate) November 11, 2014

Well Todd McShay you are an idiot.

BK: Broadcast from Saturday was inaccurate, ND does have hot reads
— Irish Sports Daily (@ISDUpdate) November 11, 2014

Seems pretty typical that RB's in college are not good in pass pro till their junior year. Remember in hs they never have to do it. I remember it took Cierre Wood will he was a junior to get it down.

BK: Tarean Folston knows he has to get better in protection. 24-21
ND loses on last second field goal.

That's OFD's Punter Bro, btw. Most knowledgeable ST guru I have access to.
How so?

Kelly said he has been the back up holder all year.
Then ND will be probably one of the worst D1 teams in the nation. Northwestern is a terrible team that good D2 teams could beat this year. It shouldnt even be a game but knowing ND, they will let it be and wont pull well ahead until the 4th quarter. Average teams would win by 10. Good teams by 14+ and great teams would demolish this bad NW sjquad.
Unfortunately, ND will win by 10.
Rigney's point is that 2/3 of Hunter Smith's botched holds were flukey/ weather-related, and that Daly bears some responsibility for them as well. Not fair to bench Smith for the ASU fumble alone.
Then again, maybe Kelly is using this as a way to get Zaire more involved, or to set up for a Fake FG, etc. But he seemed unusually vindictive after the ASU debacle; I hope this isn't an emotionally-driven mistake.

Everyone who wanted Malik to play is getting their wish.
One dropped snap in a season is one to many IMO.Rigney's point is that 2/3 of Hunter Smith's botched holds were flukey/ weather-related, and that Daly bears some responsibility for them as well. Not fair to bench Smith for the ASU fumble alone.
