Man when do we ever get to be on the winning side of a damn "instant classic"? The guys played great except for the second half d but to take away that TD on a play that happens all the time just isn't right. O well maybe we can win out.

I don't think we fall out of the top 10. Bama moves up. UGA moves up Oregon moves up. I think a realistic top 8-10 is possible inc the real ranking comes out. That was as good a loss as could be hoped for.

I cant feel happy about losing ever, sorry. Im not wired that way. You lose, you are the loser. This game wasn't about moral victories, or we played great. This game was about getting into a playoff spot. You can kiss that goodbye now, barring major upsets among the top 7-8 teams. Im sure we will be ranked 9-11 range after tonight (even though we shouldn't be). This is one of the things I hate about college football. Too much is riding on a single game. We could've easily won, and been ranked probably 2 or 3. Instead we lose in the last minute on a friggin flag, and will be knocked down a ton. One play literally cost us a playoff spot, and probably 8-12 spots in the rankings. That's way too capricious. I think this playoff idea should be expanded to the top 10. In fact, I bet it will eventually. Doesn't help us tonight, and its gonna take a year for me to get over this loss barring a miracle. Oh well, crud

So you are saying an offensive player can't fight through a jam? If we were on the 20 and running go routes, they never would have called it. It was bogus. CJ could do nothing but keep running. He never pushed the D-Back. He just kept running. He didn't block.

If we were to lose and still have a chance, this was it. We coud have another shot in the Final 4.

Fuck that call but it was the right call. ND has made a point. We will be in the conversation so long as we win out. BTW... we brings lots of money!!

I think we win this game convincingly with KVR. Still, I feel we are pretty close with integrity intact. The same cannot be said of FSU.

Just keep in mind that Miss, Miss St. Sparty, OSU, and Bama and Auburn still have to at each other.

Looking at all the 1 loss teams and the way we played tonight, it will be a shame if we drop below 8.

This is a quality loss, but we still need some quality wins to jump some of those SEC schools, Oregon...we won't jump FSU now that we lost to them. This is a tougher loss than people think.

He was fighting through a jam. He was initially jammed. Then turned it into a block. It was not even a close call IMO. CJ did a lot more than just "keep running".

I get being pissed because I am ready to refight the civil war right now, but I don't get being pissed at our guys. They won the game and had it taken from them by an inbred referee. I don't think we will fall too far in the polls, though. I'd predict us 7th. We have the best loss of one-loss teams, and it was on the road and we clearly actually won the game.
