After his father already having hash-tagged something about DD being "ND no more," Phillip Daniels has since deleted the tweet and stated that returning is an option for his son and that all options are being considered.

My guess is it's just lip service for the fans that were Tweeting him well-wishes. DD is gonna test the NFL waters or go somewhere else for a season.

Was looking forward to seeing the deepest group of WRs in the country with him at the helm. That being said Will Fuller has the most talent and skill I have seen in such a young/skinny WR at ND. Easily a top 10 wideout in the nation.

Honestly, he'd be stupid not to return if it's an option. Golson will be a Heisman front-runner in 2015, ND will be favored to make a deep run into the play-offs, Daniels can finish his degree and leave ND with his head held high, etc.

Honestly, you speak too much truth. Unless he wants to test the NFL waters now...which isn't favorable for him either.

2015 ND is where DD needs to be, if he likes it or not...his best option. That degree is not joke, to add.
