They play some decent state competition during the regular season (Bergen Catholic) and I'm pretty sure they played IMG as well.

Competition gets tougher during the playoffs. Paramus Catholic, Bergen Catholic and Bosco are all in their group iirc.

It honestly doesn't get much better. They crushed perennial Jersey power Bergen Catholic (always in the top 50-100 nationally), after going to Maryland and crushing Wise. They went down and played IMG in Florida like the other poster said, and lost a game to them that was much closer than the final 16 point margin indicated (IMG had 17 points in the 4th).

I would say Peters and Bosco are the two truly elite powers in NJ, with Bergen, PC and Joes right behind them. It will be crazy later this year when they inevitably meet in the playoffs (Bosco is ranked 3rd in the nation right now after crushing St. Joes Prep from Philly at Joe's own field, crushing St. Thomas Aquinas from Florida, and curb stomping Central from Florida). I don't think any team in the country has looked more impressive early against great competition than Bosco.

Not GB but an II member. Yes the plan is for rivals to have somebody at St. Peters Prep today to get the scoop. M. Farrell posted a little bit ago that he was in contact with him last night around 10pm and he said that he and his family were discussing a "football and life" decision. Keep in mind that he is saying that he wants to keep things quiet for a bit so not sure how much rivals with get today or not.

To add to this M. Farrell was told ND did offer him on his visit

Kind of related. Can I just say, that this message board is far superior to other teams message boards.

When this all started happening, I went looking for a Penn State Board to observe the freak out. I do this often when bad things happen to other fan bases. It helps me to remember that we are not the only obsessive weirdos in the world. Well, as noted, other boards suck. They are typically far less organized and less intuitive than I.E. I will say, Tiger Droppings is good, though.

Fun fact finished #20 overall at the Opening in the Sparq competition and obviously #1 for QB's. Basically he's a boss!

Dude. Just click "Post Reply" and then in the menu bar above the response box click on the yellow icon of the mountain. Then past the image url in the pop-up. It really does not require a screen cap. Hope that helps.

I don't think there's an easy way to post a screen grab. I tried during the draft because ESPN posted McCarron getting drafted when he really didn't, but I think the picture has to be uploaded to a site (facebook imgur, whatever) so that you have a URL to plug in.

Could be wrong, but that's been my experience.

Right clicking on some images will allow you to copy the url or open in another page and then you can copy the url from there but yeah screen shots have to be uploaded to converted to a pic file.

Bill King had steve wiltfong on regarding Brandon: said he isn't a lean towards ND, but ND could be able to flip him...said he doesn't think Franklin and company would lay down if he did flip and would continue to pursue him...feels he could come in and compete once Golson leaves...said the same thing for PSU w/ Hackenburg----nothing really big

IDK, the kid comes and then goes home to immediately have a serious conversation with parents. May not be a lean, but firmly teetering on the fence I think.

I hope they can get this done and get it done soon. This kid changes my whole perspective of the class, and I already have huge expectations for them and am thrilled with each commit that we have.

This is so obvious, but we just need Golson to keep playing well and for Hackenberg to keep playing below-average.

I dislike PSU and Michigan evenly, but would love to see Michigan beat them this week.

Per Scout, decision coming soon

IMO, if there is a "decision" to be made, it probably won't end well for PSU

Agreed, he'd just stick with his commitment and not say anything. Any idea on what soon means? Are we talking day or days?

No info, but I'll honestly bet it's before the frozen 5 reach a decision. Takers?
