'15 UT 'Big Skill' Porter Gustin (USC Verbal)

I'll break it into two parts. Before Porter moved to his HS the beginning of last summer 3 wins was considered a great year for them. They have 3 already and Porter has changed the entire teams work ethic and attitude. Last game he had 400 total yards, 17 tackles, 3 TD and 1 int. He has a wrist that needs surgery, possible cracked ribs and still goes all out (games and weight room).

Loved the ND visit and had a great experience with BK. Other OVs will be OSU, FSU, and USC probably after the season. Possibly will be at the ND/USC game. Other possible schools are Washington, ASU, LSU and Oregon. They want tradition, winning teams competing for titles or at least trending up heavily. They are looking into last years and this years recruiting classes as well. Does not really care what position, just wants to play.

2nd Official Visit Finalized For Gustin

Five-star outside linebacker Porter Gustin has finalized his second official visit out of the five he plans on taking before making his college decision. Two weeks ago, Gustin took in Notre Dame for his first official visit and later this fall he'll see Notre Dame play again. This time though, he'll be at the Coliseum on USC's dime as an official visitor.

USC is the perceived favorite for Gustin according to his 247Sports Crystal Ball. The 6-5, 240-pound athlete could project to quarterback, tight end, linebacker and defensive end.. Following Thanksgiving, Gustin and his family will travel down to Los Angeles for the weekend and to see the Nov. 29 regular season finale.

Sources close to Gustin's recruitment indicated that Notre Dame gained ground following his official visit to South Bend but his recruitment remains wide open with Ohio State, UCLA, Arizona State, LSU and others still firmly in the mix with more official visits to go. Along with the USC visit, Ohio State is looking like a probable destination for one of his other three visits with the fourth and fifth trip still very much up in the air.

On Friday night, Gustin is expecting coaches from USC, Arizona State, Ohio State and others at his game.

Gustin is ranked as a four-star on the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He is a five-star on the 247Sports rankings and he has accepted an invitation to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
