Is it possible we see OSU in a bowl this year?

The only bowl I want to see osu in is the crapper at the hourly-rate motel after burrito night at the community center that feeds meth addicts and prostitutes.

I'll see you, Brick, and Wooly there for poker again this week.

Don't delete this. Jake Hausmann should go to ND.

Let me try this again...

If OSU goes 10-2 and ND goes 10-2, both eligible for the better bowls, could we meet up? Not sure on conference ties and how all that jazz works.

Too early in the season to even care about for me.

The Class of 2016 is a big one in Ohio for tight ends, and with the Buckeyes grabbing a commitment from three-star Kierre Hawkins over the weekend, that still leaves four-stars Luke Farrell and Jake Hausmann on the market. Both also have an Ohio State offer and with the Buckeyes likely not taking three tight ends, who will jump on their offer first? Farrell has been open about his strong feelings towards Ohio State, while both of Hausmann's parents are Ohio State graduates. It should be an interesting situation. Hawkins is athletic enough to play outside or from the H-back position, but it's still unlikely that Farrell and Hausmann will both be in the plans for the Buckeyes. But here's an interesting idea, take all three. If anyone can make that work it's Urban Meyer, who could find ways to run the spread with speed and mix it up with a jumbo set a la the New England Patriots of a few years ago where the tight end became the biggest weapon on the team.

Possible (if it happened, most likely the Orange Bowl IMO ), but I'd go with the Cotton bowl for us vs someone else (if we don't go the dance).

NCAA College Football BCS Bowl Projections Week 9 - ESPN

The latest.... one has us in the dance, one has us in the Cotton vs KanSt.

Had an up and down game tonight. His QB keys on him and telegraphs passes and Jake didn't go get the ball on a couple throws into tight coverage. That led to 1, almost 2 picks. But he did display some great hands on a few throws. However he also dropped an open seam route where he could have done cartwheels into the end zone. Overall he's a really exciting player. Also forgot to add above that he has a mean streak as a blocker. Just mauls some kids. Hope he's Irish because he'll eventually be a complete TE IMO.

Haha, mostly busting balls but you love to be that guy, like star69, that everybody has it better than ND. Good Sunday buddy.

Lol sometimes I'm a glass half empty guy but I'm really happy with Jones and Hausman should be good with OSU. Star69 I can't handle, he bitches every time a kid commits during a junior day visit and how the staff doesn't recruit that well and how our junior day sucks and we don't have a Friday Night Lights camp. He's ridiclous but yes sometimes I lke to bust the staffs balls about not recruiting well sometimes. Good day to you as well bro, Go Irish!

You'd have to think the Irish are going to have a down period in TE recruiting next year and possibly in '17. There is a lot of young talent in South Bend to sit behind before you get your shot.

Smythe, Jones, Luatua.

I like it.
