Huge bummer if he isn't playing. I don't think it will matter much for today's game as I expect us to smoke Purdue but as a true freshman I'd like to see him get all the experience and playing time he can get against the lighter part of our schedule so he can be more prepared when we play the meat of our schedule.

Anyone know if this is a result of the shot (should have been a blatant targeting call) he took against UM? I can't remember if he played anymore after that or not...or is this something else entirely?

No Trumbetti was a starter and playing significant minutes. we actually had RB depth last year unlike this year at DL. We need him. maybe not for this game, but we need him.

I highly doubt it. He's a starter and has played significant minutes (against Rice anyway)...if he's healthy he'll be playing from here on out, IMO. He's too good to sit just to redshirt him if he's healthy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this kid is a straight baller. On top of this, love how much PT the freshman are getting and the fact that we are winning in the process. That is how you can really build a solid program over time.
