Tell you what: watching A&M's offense tonight could be a sign JFF was the product of a (gulp) system....
I've been saying that since the beginning. Didn't Case Keenum or whoever put up even more ridiculous numbers too? Where was his Heisman?

I've been saying this ever since he 'blew up' last year as well. No need for the gulp, Steelhead. Sumlin's system is great and yes, Case had better stats. People just don't get it. I really hate arguing with uninformed fans.

I was laughing in the faces of my Browns fans friends when they drafted him. They love him.... he's so Cleveland.... but he's fucking terrible.

Got that right, Brah... He is indeed. The people around here are so starved for wins and looking for excitement, they'll embrace a sock puppet at this point. Jonathan is a gimmick and isn't going to pan out.

I think it is safe to say that JFF will not be seeing the field in any Browns game, as a starter. Hoyer is just a better QB right now. Anyone who thought otherwise only watched his highlights.

You're missing the fact Hoyer is a free agent after this year. So they either commit to him, leave him starter, and pay him $, or sit him and start Manziel and let him go in free agency

seemingly hoyer isn't keen to sign a long term deal with Manziel on the roster. Sooner or later the Browns are gonna have to play JFF or trade him (unlikely)

Then Hoyer will be the one making the $ sign, especially if the Browns make the playoffs. But the point I was making is that Johnny will not see meaningful time on the field unless Hoyer gets hurt, because it is pretty plain that the guy's grip on the starting job for this year is only getting stronger. Also helps that their division is fairly mediocre. Not as bad as the AFC East, of course, but close.

Would YOU want to be QB and have to be looking over your shoulder at the guy who everyone thought should be playing instead of you for another year?

And somebody is going to want Hoyer after this year, whether it be CLE (in which case they will be able to find suitors for Johnny), or someone else.

the thing about Hoyer is that he's worth more to the Browns than anyone else. If he does not start in Cleveland, then where else does he? If I were him I'd sign the contract with the Browns and just keep plugging away, chances are JFF will get bored and screw up somehow and get booted eventually.

True but you know JFF will make a stink about not starting next year if Hoyer signs a longterm extension. Which just means they can trade him to the Bills, since they will be moving on from Manuel soon. Or to the Jets when they let Geno go...provided Vick is not there anymore, although having Vick as a mentor might not be a bad thing for an undersized mobile QB.

24-3 lol. Marvin can suck a fatty.

It's awesome that he called Manziel out, before his first start, when his team has to go play a crucial divisional game against them. Super great.

Having said that, Who Dey.

It's about time.

Whole team got off the bench to watch him 2 weeks ago when they put him in. He's going to give them a big spark.

This couldn't set up any worse for the Bengals.

Fall apart again Steelers at home.

Johnny Football makes his first start. He will give the Browns just the spark they need to sweep Cinci.

Play the Steelers again at Pitt.

From first to fourth in the division in three weeks - typical Bengals.

All while Johnny is getting the Browns fired up for the playoffs

They could easily go 3-0. vs. Bengals, at Carolina, vs. Ravens. The media sh!tstorm would be out of control.
