35% of male abused children become abusers.

Thanks for helping to break that cycle, Aaron.

Thanks for saying something.

God that has to be hard to talk about. Takes a lot for Aaron to speak up. Bless you, Aaron, and may you be able to spark an awareness for the issue.

The Big Man is a BIG Man. Aaron Taylor is strong in ways far more than throwing linemen around. Also, he did us a great service this season when he called out the supposed team leaders for not leading. He's got the passion for Notre Dame in that big heart.

Wow. This whole experience is terrible for everyone involved and it shows a lot of courage for Aaron to come out and talk out about the situation.

Took more courage than I can imagine to endure that, then talk about it. Thanks for fighting through Big A.

Man, I just cannot grasp the numbers on this stuff. When the topic comes up on a message board, you find out alot of folks have had to endure it, and damn near everyone knows someone it happened to. So if everyone has seen it close to home, I'd guess this to be a silent epidemic. Thats just hard to take.

The big guy usually goes to bat for us on the CBS sports college football preview but not this year. He claims we were a 9 win team at best WITH the 4 suspended and 7 if we're without.

We were an 8 win team last year with Tommy, God bless him. Tell me we don't have significantly better chances taking the Pitt and Stanford games with Everett. Both of those games were within reach.

Sure we lose Tuitt and Nix but this defense has the pieces it needs to be successful.

Straight up.. UNC, USC, Syracuse and Louisville will all underwhelm this year. Petrino won't take long to build that program but we're not running into last year's squad. Those teams have all been inflated.

I'm disappointed in Big A for not taking a deeper look at this team and Kellys track record. BK had done a lot more, with a lot less.

We're 6-0 going into Tallahassee.. And at least a 10 win team.

I agree with him. This defense is terrifyingly young and the depth is nonexistent.

The original link doesnt work but Im guessing it was something serious based off the first few comments.

Shouldnt this be moved to a general thread about the season?

IF we stay perfectly healthy in the front 7, I could see us having a good year. If not, we're screwed. Schedule is too tough, and the depth is far too young right now up front.

We'll know a lot more about this team once we hit our early bye.

I definately agree... thoughest schedule in years, new coaches, young players... not a good recipe.

The saving grace is this is one of the more talented teams ND has had, unit to unit, in a long, long time... prob. in my adult life... they're just so young.

In my opinion, sometimes ignorance is bliss when it comes to young talent.

I've gone way out of the norm for myself and have called for an 11-1 season.

link broken

I think I'm gathering what it's about, but a little clarity? I love Aaron Taylor.

PM or a fresh link would be good.

It's going to get frustrating. We're gonna get some really great plays and dazzling displays of athleticism, but we're also going to get a ton of "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" plays.

What in all that's Good and Just are half of you people talking about?

I was able to google what I thought this was about, and it confirmed my original heart wrenching thoughts. (You're an awesome Man Aaron!)

Then I see some folks saying he was talking about the quality of depth?

I don't get it.

If we reach, Darrin Walls not turning around for the ball multiple times level, then yeah, we're fucked.

That's why I suggested moving it.

The thread was started to talk about something from Taylor's personal life and then was bumped to talk about his thoughts on this season.
