Too small and too white, kind of like Cam McDaniel i guess. I like that he was named captain of his team, tells me a lot. A team needs players like this mixed in and Kelly and staff have a good eye for talent. I'm siding with them!

It's not the size of the player in the game, but the size of the game in the player!

I really like his tape. Obviously he is not very explosive or fast athlete but he is always taking two or three steps to the right direction before the ball come out of the QB hands, he anticipates the plays so well and quickly. Big fan of the way he explodes through ball carriers too, never hesitates and always hitting hard, just like Shumate and Farley....

He's a scrappy son of a bitch. From one of the top HS programs in the nation. He will come in with a chip the size of Nick Saban's ego on his shoulder.

Cam is one of my favorite players. I hope he gets a thousand yards this season.

USA Today has Bishop Gorman ranked #1 in the nation for the pre-season poll. So as it stands we have a solid commit who is the captain of the theoretical best team in the country. I'd love to see them win it all.

Solid perspective, didn't know he was the captain.

Side note - how much does the HC at an elite football palce like Gorman make?

that's great to hear, this goes to show that the 3 star status might not mean all that much, assuming he has a good year. Could be more of a late bloomer which hurts his reputation on the rating sites, but means he's a beast when it comes to actual college fooball

Probably play one of the toughest schedules too. Besides who they play from Vegas, they face Servite, St John Bosco (HS NC last year), Centennial CA, Santa Margarita. Those 4 teams are some of the top team in the Pac5 (arguably toughest conference in country) and Inland Empire. Add in there Brophy College Prep from AZ. I'll be going to the Santa Margarita and Bosco games. Gorman is about 3 miles from my house.

Bishop Gorman beat Brophy Prep (Ariz) 44-0 last night. Sounds like Fertitta was all over the field, as usual. Love his competitive fire. Diminutive as he may be at Safety, Nicco is one of my favorite recruits this cycle.

No. 1 Bishop Gorman crushes Brophy Prep, 44-0 | My LV Sports

At some point the entire game should be viewable on-demand.

Nicco has that fire in the belly that can't be coached. He hits like a truck. Some IE posters are going to be pleasantly surprised before Fertitta graduates with his ND degree. Lead by example - Seek and destroy. The opposing team's turnovers will follow.

Maybe it's just me, but none of that was impressive. The second play was nice.

It's just you. Liked what I saw. Intense competitor.

Well, then add one more to that list, because I didn't see anything on that tape that impressed me. Certainly not the cheap shot he pulled on the final play of the clip. I have no idea what made him think that was a good thing to put on a highlight reel. They were completely away from the play and he saw that the other guy wasn't paying attention to him (why would he, the play is no where near either of them) and hit a defenseless player. Bush league shit.

Not impressed.
