The footage kicked off with the Marvel superhero team comically attempting to pick up Thor's mighty hammer off a coffee table.

"If I lift it, do I get to rule Asgard?" Tony Stark wondered while trying to wield Thor's hammer — both with and without one of his Iron Man gauntlets.

The teaser quickly launched into a barrage of action-packed imagery, including Hulk battling a giant robot resembling Iron Man and Thor grabbing Stark by the throat. The footage ended with a bleak scene of all the Avengers fallen with a haunting close up of Captain America's shield split down the middle.

I'm pumped for that. Don't think I've ever seen a bad Tom Hardy movie and the Mad Max is an awesome series.

I see this was already taken down. God knows why. Here is the decription of the trailer put better than I can:

The short teaser opens with Batman in a full armor suit from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.

Glowing eyes, very mechanical, it’s pouring rain He pulls down a lever on something and we realize it’s the Bat Signal. It has the new Batman logo (reminiscent of the one from Miller’s comic). The camera slowly pans up to reveal the signal projected in the air but right in the middle of it: Superman. He’s illuminated in the sky amongst the pouring rain with his red glowing eyes. Cut back to Batman, staring right back at Superman with his blue glowing eyes and we cut to the logo.

Batman v Superman Teaser Trailer Description [Comic Con 2014] - /Film

The reason I am shocked they are being so secretive of it is that it was extremely short and barely showed anything.

My first taste of Spider Man...

That was high budget for the day... Who would have imagined they could get Morgan Freeman to sign on as Officer Flatfoot?

Decided on a whim to go to the midnight showing. Pretty excited.

My wife (whom I love) is going out of town until Saturday and I'm not supposed to see it without her. Dammit Marvel for putting a talking raccoon in your movie!

Why the 'Deadpool' film is going to be PG-13 — and why it can still be great | The Verge

I personally don't see how a Deadpool film could not be R, but this writer make a strong case for it.

A couple of other articles about deadpool and the leaked test footage that has popped up and been taken down over and over again this week:

Just got home from the 7:00 showing of Guardians. I'll give it a solid B+. The humor wasn't nearly as overboard as I've read in some of the reviews and there were several "soft" moments throughout the film. The only disappointment for me was the post-credits scene.

I would say A-. I laughed out loud multiple times and the action was really good.

One problem I had with it was that Drax was getting his ass kicked 90% of the time he was in any action scene.

Things are looking pretty quiet for Marvel. They should probably start planning some future movies.

Guardians was a good movie. Groot is my new favorite marvel character!

Deadpool would be done by twentieth century Fox. Marvel looks like it really has itself in gear.

Saw it with my son Saturday. I really enjoyed it, felt very fresh given pretty much an entirely new setting and cast of characters. Given pretty abysmal box office numbers (largely due to lackluster selection) so far this summer, this could have carte blanche on receipts.

I'll go out on a limb and say The Collector kidnaps John C Reilly's wife and/or child (same race as the slaves to which he had shown preference) and GG aren't drawn in until Groot goes up missing. Maybe Yondu is enlisted to build the collection back up.

Given the grander scale of villains already on hand, maybe that is a secondary plotline to something else infinity stone related. But The Collector cameos in two movies including the important post credit lamenting is too significant to ignore. Or it could be a set up or a Howard the Duck sequel.

On second thought, maybe the only thing holding back Howard the Duck was Disney claiming copyright infringement relative to Donald Duck. Now that the Mouse owns both Ducks, Howard can be free to roam the universe!
