If that is 4.8 speed in his video, I will take that. He looks plenty fast to play at the next level when he is considered a "big back."

That's very very slow for a RB. But I value production more than testing numbers, and he certainly has that.

It's been discussed before, but IMO 40 times are the most overrated stat, especially for a RB. A 10-20 yard time is more indicative to me when it comes to getting to the outside or making that cut once they pop through the line.

Ray Graham from Pitt ran a 4.8 at the combine and wooped us pretty bad a few times. Still not exactly something to be happy about.

LSU has always had a sickening stable of runningbacks. I mean every single year. Their biggest problem is keeping them eligible and out of jail. Something about Louisiana that they always generate DLmen, RBs and WRs. And the fact that those players line up to sign for LSU even knowing there are 4-5 ahead. Very similar to Bama. Ive never understood it. I cant remember us having one RB in the past ten years that compared to their starting or second string RB. I remember watching Hill last year and thinking, "Man, what ND could do with a beast like that behind NDs line.".

Barton Simmons called his commitment to LSU "incredibly shaky"

Texas is the biggest threat

Was perusing the Tiger Droppings board for Tillery news (slow morning at work), and stumbled across this post from 7/26:

grandson on u-high team says notre dame . does not want to share playing time with others

Now... I'm not putting a ton of stock into it, but coupled with rumors that he does not want to play in the shadow of Fournette, and I'd say the staff has a decent crack at flipping him. Would be great to get both Brossette and Tillery out of Louisiana.

That said, I hope they stay on Soso. I think there's a greater chance that he commits with the Irish and stays that way. If we finished the offensive class with him and ESB, I'd be ecstatic.

I'll second that! So the odds then would be against both Brossette and SoSo being Irish no? I can't lie, I do prefer SoSo, but in no way would I be upset in landing either of them. Then add ESB and Humphrey to that, child please lol. Still could end up with a phenomenal class!

Don't know how Brossette would feel about being in the same class as Jamabo. Jamabo wouldn't care.

The better question is how would Adams feel, three runningbacks in a class is a lot and Jamabo and Brissette are much more talented

Per TV and Loy has been on this for awhile. They believe that as things progress with LSU's RB situation and Leonard Fournette clearly being the bell cow there for the next 3 years that it may have an impact on Nick's decision. He remains in contact with ND and plans to OV.

Yes. I think we are fine OL-wise and the potential loss of Tillery is manageable. I think Brosette would be a great pick up to compliment Adams, in the event Soso does not pick us. The real question is could we take Brossette and Soso? I still say yes.

Yep. Any time you can get a stud rb you take him. If you can get two, then you take two. Better watch out for A&M with Soso J... appears they are putting on the full court press.
