Update from 247:

He visited yesterday and is now "juggling" Michigan and ND. He said he liked the campus and academic presentation, he said he could see himself there and really enjoyed the weight-lifting coach and obviously mattison and Hoke. He also said his mother really enjoyed it as well.

It's neck and neck right now I still believe ND wins this one but could go either way now

I hope this is one of those times the home team gets the advantage. I am very glad though that he did not commit on the visit and that gives me a little relief. Like LAX said, Hoke is very good at putting the pressure in these kids and he definitely gets his fair share.

I wouldn't read too much of him not committing on this trip, he doesn't strike me as one that will pull the trigger without thinking about things first. A guy on the Michigan site asked Steve who he is feeling after this trip and I can't wait to hear his response bc it honestly looks like it could go either way

Anna interviewed him from a pros cons perspective about his top 2. He basically said the same as the 247 article but also said he knows ND is more prestigious for football and academics. To me, based on his quotes he will ultimately pick ND. Everything was equal or leaned ND.

I REALLY like his game. I want Hilliard and others but if we pull Bilal, to go along with Barajas, then nobody should be complaining about the LB haul. Kid is a player.

Watching lots of film today and I gotta say Bilal's is really quite impressive. He is an exceptional athlete and looks like a missile once he sets his targets on the ball carrier! He reminds me of a former UGA LB Rennie Curran. Just shoots off the ball. No matter what the rest of the LB's do, we need Bilal to don the Gold helmet fellas. He's a stud! He just looks like he belongs on an elite SEC LB corp and he is in our backyard.

No doubt the kid is a stud.

He's one of the best in the class. I can only say that Hillard, Houston and Jefferson are better than him as I think those 3 are a half a tick better than that next tier that includes Bilal, Barajas, Baker, Holland, Deberry as well as Gustin and Masina if they are considered as OLB rather than DE's that I think they would be in ND's new attacking 4-3 defense.

I'm sorry, but who is Pete?

Sampson, I assume.

Really, really hope we can land Bilal with Hilliard looking less and less likely. Bilal and Barajas would give us 2/3 of a GREAT LB haul, while still owning Indiana.

Then go all in on Coney at MLB IMO.

I'll hold out some additional hope for Baker--knowing that it is unlikely!

I like Barajas and Billal, but I really like them in a situation where they are learning to play behind buys like Smith and Morgan. I think we are finally getting to the point where guys can develop at the right pace with the right role models (like our O-line).

On the off chance we end up Barajas, Billal, and Hilliard, who among them would play MLB?
