I'm wondering where this commitment came from. I know UM wanted him, but all of the momentum seemed to be with OSU.

Did Hoke pressure him saying someone else was about to take his place?

How is this going to jive with Hoke's no-visit policy?

I can't see Clark sitting still for the next 7 months.

He loved his first visit to Michigan, said it was the best visit he has ever taken. It's not a huge shocker

I will take his recruitment seriously when he starts honestly looking at his future home. IE which juco is closest to his favorite fast food. 2 years juco then an ole miss vs oklahoma battle for his one year of D1 services.

Kid made one hasty, mistaken commitment to a school, and people are this angst-filled?

Those initial pro-ND comments tweaked some of you I think lol.

Hilliard tweeted he was going to announce soon, and then followed it up by saying he was going to try to get his boys to join him. One of said boys is Clark.

And that's why I think we get Hilliard.

I just honestly am not sure how many options Chris has in terms of schools. (OSU might not have even been an option for him.) Michigan must be one of them (but even there it might be a "now that you've committed, we want you to do this work to actually qualify"). I wouldn't be surprised if this commitment didn't stick.

What do you mean by "options"? The kid is ranked as the #1 or 2 tightend in the country.

He's referencing his questionable HS grades and work. Some speculate that they not meet minimum standards at most schools, which in turn reduces his options. Remember McKenzie from last year?

If he can get into UM, I'd imagine every school he's been linked to in the past two months he's a take for, outside of ND.

Maybe scUM has told him they'll take him if he gets his grades up.

Should note that just because he committed to Michigan doesn't mean he's past admissions. Anthony Standifer would be a great example of how it goes down with Michigan if you can't get your stuff together after committing.

Dumpster diving of college football recruiting.

(Note : not referring to the recruits as garbage; just analogizing to the work vs. reward of it all.)

Whether he can get into the school due to admissions is what I mean by options.

If he can get into UM, I'd imagine every school he's been linked to in the past two months he's a take for, outside of ND.
