IIRC, Barajas ratings blew up in a very short time frame as did his offer list. Perhaps Coleman will see the same

Alter is a DIV school, and plays mostly schools around its same size in the Cincinnati and Dayton area. They don't play the big boys like St X, Moeller, Colerain, Elder, etc.

I like him though, he is a really decisive runner.

They play some good teams and some really bad ones. As Clashmore said, they dont play the big boys, but the HS does have a history of producing D1 talent on the regular. Good program, but doesnt face the typical Ohio powers.

They're a routinely solid mid-sized Ohio school. Malik Zaire was from Alter.

Personally, I think we should take him as the 5th DB and as Whiskey said, if MSU wants him, then so do I.

I think the staff wants 3 CBs regardless. Coleman and one more outside CB, and then Crawford more as an inside CB covering the slot. Add Coleman to the fold early, then recruit the hell out of your tier 1 targets like Reid, Marshall, etc. and hope to just land one.

Agreed, taking Coleman could make us feel a little bit more at ease with letting Reid's recruitment play out.

DT and CB are the two positions where I think you always need depth and should take quality kids when you can get them, even if the need isn't extreme. This seems like a no-brainer to me. If we get Coleman and Crawford, we're off to a very good start.
