Makes absolutely no sense but that's ok, you stated you don't know much about training. The appearance of the trainer means absolutely nothing when it comes to performance training. I'm a professional strength and conditioning coach so I'll stick to my opinion on the workout. Like PANDA said earlier, this is a bodybuilding centric routine that you could find in a magazine. Long on aesthetics, short on training economy. He's going to be fine when he gets a periodized plan. Kids got great potential.

There was a video out recently of him and his dad working out, and it's legitimate stuff. Believe me, he's in good hands with his dad training him. A lot of the workouts they do are very good for his frame and the responsibilities he'll do as a blocker.

I'm going to paste his two posts again so you can reread them and maybe figure out for yourself why your post is ridiculous. You have to be trolling with this one, right?

In all honesty he needs a professional trainer and he will be fine. Not a personal trainer. His legs aren't actually as underdeveloped as it seems. I'd be more concerned with posterior chain development anyway. The workout really needs some help though. I would never put one of the kids I train into a smith machine, let alone behind the neck presses in there. Just a small sampling though, would love to get a look at his complete programming.

Damn, you are far too quick for me. Great to see Tristen's hard work pay off. Not the best talent he's going against but still good to see.

Idk if Hoge is an All-American in the making or that d-lineman was just bad. Or both

Just as you can only play who's on your schedule, you can only go against the guy they put in front of you. That being said, T Hoge did very well. Most of the other guys struggled, but at least Tristen was able to handle his assignment.

ND commit Tristen Hoge looks like he's in great shape. He's one of the most likely players here to get an opening invite IMO.

-Hopkins

He got reprimanded pretty good from his bosses. His bosses assured me he would be on his best behavior. I see anything he says tied to ND top be positive or no post at all.

An Oregon poster who is very well respected. He could be dead wrong but who knows

Are you talking about Hopkins? Because I thought he basically implied that Hoge was inconsistent, while everyone else said he dominated his reps, albeit against decent competition.

Hoge needs to keep his hands inside. Technique big man... it'll keep the yellow off the field.

Hoge is a flat out beast. His DL didn't look very good, but Hoge stoned him every time.

That 2nd DL David L. looked really good for being unranked.

That will come with some work, but he was very quick and light on his feet. He's going to be the real deal.

Oh... I'm with you 100%. I just like to point out that sometimes even when a kid is dominating in camps, there is work to do. He's not going to come in and start day 1. Even a stud like Hoge, who is one of my favorite kids in this class, has some faults and has plenty to work on.

Totally dude its a War now. Tactically what you need to do is link up with other school's fanbases who Hopkins has pissed off and get them working against him too

I don't think we would get much cooperation from other fanbases. As much as other fanbases may not like Hopkins, they despise ND even more.

I don't know, I think it could be done. Who hates Oregon? Start with them.

No one hates them yet.

They've never won a championship.

They played for one and got jail sexed.

Irrelevant.

I don't even think Boise State hates them; because they beat them when they play. Lol.

Heck fire, that is moral bankruptcy at its worst! Cheat like hell, put your most successful coach in the NFL, and still have nothing to show for it! Holy heck!

Jail sexed? They shut down Cam Newton better than anybody else did all season. And if the RB had been called down, they probably would have won.

Still. who never won it? O-rea-gon! Never won it with all that money being spent and new uni's every week, made by slave labor.

Oh, yeah!

Tristen, we didn't see you at the Rivals 5 star Challenge. Were you able to acquire an invitation for the Opening? Second question - Why have high school sports analysts given you such high evaluations as an offensive lineman?
