Notre Dame football connecting with Core 6 recruits - South Bend Tribune: Recruiting

State for Sanders
In his last sporting event before moving to California for his senior year, C.J. Sanders took home a pair of state titles.
Sanders, a 2015 wide receiver commit to Notre Dame, won the 100- and 200-meter races in Friday’s Division II state championships meet in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He logged a time of 10.76 seconds in the 100 and 21.88 in the 200.
“I wanted to leave my mark,” Sanders told The Tennessean. “That was my goal, and I’m glad I did it.”
Sanders will transfer this summer from Brentwood Academy to Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame. He will make the move with his family June 1.

Wow! Normally I may have a problem with a hard working athlete with rockets attached to his legs giving all credit to God; but this kid appears to me to be genuinely humble. He was kind to the interviewer, showed dedication to a real plan, has a good sense of self and is his own person; I agree with you, the sky is the limit for this kid!

It's nice to see athletes that actually answer questions thoroughly rather than they predictable small talk.

Exactly, reps! He is very concise for a 17 or 18 year old. And I liked the way he gave credit to the speed of California track. With humor, he showed he did not regard himself too highly.

My concern has nothing to do with that---it's that he is a legacy.

Well, ND has nothing to worry about! It is on WIKI now, so that's about as official as it can be!. Again, that was a great move CanadalovesND! I am probably enjoying it more than most, but with all these uber intelligent sec fans, they think WIKI is gospel. Hahaha!

Would have been the 3rd best WR last year and 4th overall.
