This is actually a complicated topic. When I was a teenager some biker dude I worked with at a wind farm told me "kid, shits the same everywhere you go". Based on my experience he was right. There might not be a lot of hot chicks at ND but I'm pretty sure that means the same applies to the dudes. Now, does that mean if you're a good looking dude then you standout even more and your chances increase whereas in Ann Arbor and Columbus you're just another face in a crowd? Maybe NDSean is onto something and one of you Econ or math whizzes can plot a graph or something to confirm or deny this.

I dont have graphs, but one time at work (I worked at the student union) we had the new sorority pledges in for breakfast, during which they found out which sorority had accepted. It was without question the most "talent" I've ever seen in one room. 900 girls fresh off a j.crew robbery dressing to impress.

Point is, that was just one semester, and that's just the chicks who want to pay for friends. OSU is a factory, and football players are gods if they have a modicum of respect from women. And they get theirs even if they aren't. A friend went home with Pryor (the most hated guy on campus when it wasn't Saturday) and the dude made her sleep on the floor hahah

Is shit the same everywhere? Well hormones are hormones, and alcohol is alcohol, so that math checks out. But I guess I'd just guess that one's social options are exponentially larger at OSU.

I guess at the end of the day college is what you make it. But if you're looking to experience college in a particular way, OSU can offer things that ND cant, and ND can offer things OSU cant too. Its that simple.

And loose girls are loose girls....

And there are lots of them everywhere if you're a football player...

Do you still live around OSU?

So we're estimating Hillard's commitment is based on the percentages of whether he can get laid more at one school over another? lol

You can certainly have a very good time at Notre Dame. And anyone who went there knows plenty of stories of athletes who got all sorts of laid. But as a "party school," giant state universities like Ohio State and Michigan are in an entirely league.
I believe the hope is that young Mr. Hilliard is giving more weight to other factors in his recruitment.

Damn, I didn't know that. I spent all my time playing basketball when I should have been concentrating on football!

Oh, mgod! How funny!

And of course the other facet is that if you go to ND, and can put off your immediate gratification until you graduate and matriculate to the NFL not only do you get even more women, but you get a better class! Oh this could go on for ever.

With his career this is what Prior's lineup looks like today :

Must've missed something because I thought he was set for a while to be at the camp.

Yeah, not sure Hilliard is giving as much thought into which schools are better for parties as IE is.

Thats just not true. South Bend outside of Notre Dame is a dump. Big city problems and small city fun. No real clubs or bars other than brothers. Also, though ND does know how to party compared to some other private schools. Ann Arbor and Colombus have a lot more attractive chicks and are a lot more fun.

Okay guys, you really need to take your meds. I'm not saying South Bend is Athens or Madison by any means, but if you're trying to tell me that Ann Arbor or Columbus are the pinnacles of vibrant activity around the college football world, then you're fooling yourself. Columbus, I MAY understand, but Ann Arbor? Really people? Ann friggin' Arbor?

Columbus? Possibly. It's a town that has definitely accepted the college-town lifestyle, but it's not Madison. Ann Arbor...not even remotely close. It's just as big of a dump as South Bend. Columbus? Maybe. Ann Arbor? Hell no.

Also really? Ann Arbor and Columbus have more attractive chicks? Hope we're not talking the fans, cuz ND definitely beats them out by a country mile. More chicks? Sure. More attractive? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

There's tons of clubs/bars near campus other than brothers. Finnys, CJs, Feve, Backer are all very popular. Not on the same level as any University with 30,000+ students, but there's a nice bar scene around ND.

Have you been to Ann Arbor? Because it sure sounds like you have not. Ann Arbor is an awesome college town. Also, the frat life at UM is absolutely unreal.

I chose ND, but to act like Ann Arbor "is a big of a dump as south bend" sounds both unintelligent and is just plain wrong.

JimmyMac ND does well for itself as far as partying Im not disagreeing, but again its not on Ann Arbor (which is a great campus) and Columbus ( that goes nuts)

I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about. I went to ND for 4 years then lived in Columbus for the next 3. Columbus has the more attractive girls and it's not even close. Has nothing to do with quantity either. I've also been to Ann Arbor 4 times and it's not close there either.

What's so ludicrous about that? I'm aware that South Bend isn't a vibrant area by any means, but neither is Columbus or even more so, Ann Arbor.

You just went full potato.

Ann Arbor is one of the best small cities in the country, and Columbus is one of the best large cities in the Midwest and is absolutely blowing up right now.

Can we plz limit this thread to Justin Hilliard news and discussion? This is obnoxious.

Sean, no one agrees with you.

Everyone else, zip it.
