Since Crawford decommitted, almost 20 CBs have been changed, all to ND except one, Steve Lorenz (Michigan insider) has his on foggy. Homerism at its best. This is the least foggy recruitment of anyone's I'm following.

It can be overcome through penance; Coach Elston has almost cleared his name.

That is true...that is true...it takes a special man to overcome something like this...

Anyone have any inkling on how long it'll be before Shaun pops?

Tom is still sticking to his timeline of Crawford making his decision public before June 8th. I didn't see much on ISD except Mike Frank saying the staff hadn't heard from Crawford as of 1 pm yesterday.

edit-- I just looked at ISD again, and Christian says he's been told by someone close to the situation that he is "pretty sure his mind is made up." I suppose they are feeling it's imminent as well.

In high school there was this really hot cheerleader everyone wanted... For some unknown reason she wanted me...

After a while it was clear we'd bed each other... But time passed and despite my immaculate game nothing happened... I eventually got frustrated and fucked it all up...

I'm an impatient bastard....

I could never be a cfb coach,.. Commit kid.

No need for him to commit again so early. Let him go at his own speed unlike how um seemed to have let him.

From Loy this morning. Expect his previous decision timeline of before June 8th to be pushed back. No reason for concern. Mother wants to get on campus with Kelly and academic advisers. She is a HS principal and its very important for her to do this before a final decision. Look for him to come to II on June 20th with a commitment probably likely.

Was his mom this careful with Michigan? Just sayin'.

Well they were blown away by the academic side of things at ND the first time around and he would have committed on the spot with an offer. I would assume the second time around they want to be 100% sure with this decision so he doesn't have to do it a 3rd time. I think this is the right approach. He's not flirting with a bunch of schools, he's just making sure ND is right.

Which it is indeed!

From OSU 247:
One of our sources is in charge of recruiting for a college football staff (don’t try and guess, you won’t get it) and often passes along info he gets on the trail whether an eyewitness account or what he gets from other coaches on the circuit. He checked in recently with some interesting info.

“I had the opportunity to talk shop with a few guys from your part of the planet,” the source said. “The talk got around to [Shaun] Crawford and from there it got to Michigan. It sounds like the Crawford de-commit was a mutual thing. He wanted out but Michigan was looking to cut ties anyway. Hope he picks Notre Dame. You guys don't want him.

“That brings me to why he wanted out. [Brady] Hoke is in trouble. I mean real trouble. These [other coaches] were all looking at me like I have been living under a rock or something since I didn't know about it. Common knowledge was their attitude about it.

“Recruiting is where the great concern is. Losing the state’s top kids to Ohio State is one thing. Sucking hind tit to Sparty is where his support is eroding badly. Michigan is not a great high school football state but there is some talent. Picking rather than recruiting that talent has always been a pillar of Michigan recruiting. Battling, usually from the third spot in the pecking order these days, is looking like a deal breaker. He needs to light it up this year. He does not have the horses to do that.”

I am not sure I understand. Hoke is in trouble so he wanted to cut ties with Crawford? OSU fans should hope he picks ND? And Michigan recruiting the state of Michigan poorly has what to do with Crawford? It truly sounds like a bunch of sour grapes mixed with "Haha look at Michigan!"

If this is true, he is DEFINITLY coming. They will blow her mind.

I believe it's saying Hoke being in trouble is why Crawford wanted out. It doesn't say why Michigan wanted to cut ties.

The source seems to think Crawford eithier isn't that good or has off the field issues

And Michigan recruiting the state of Michigan poorly has what to do with Crawford? It truly sounds like a bunch of sour grapes mixed with "Haha look at Michigan!"

Talking about Crawford got them to talk about the state of Michigan and Hoke as a whole and I guess some are not happy that UM isn't getting the top talent in Michigan.

The post was wierd and definitely some sour grapes in it.

My favorite part of that post was the osu guy looking out for michigan, saying they dodged a bullet w/Crawford.

Right.
