still think we trail, but getting him back to campus speaks volumes to the impression we made on his initial visit.

Watched his film.

I saw a taller, stronger TJ Jones. Great possession WR with good speed and YAC ability.

Also could see him ending up like LSU's Landry from this past season. A WR that plays with an attitude can play on my team any day.

Amen. That's why I was so disappointed when Shaq Evans transferred.

Per TJ,

OU and Mizzou are thought to be his leaders, but we'll have our shot here with this return visit. He and his dad certainly are interested in ND.

As Pete noted, he's a take if he wants to come.

I think we'll have to hit for the cycle to get him. Overcoming one favorite is tough enough, but two is probably not going to happen.

They have the bag men on the case?

Lol. I dont know about that. But I did hear he really enjoyed his time down there with his family. I think Oklahoma gets him, but Ole Miss is making a push for it and possibly down the line to make he re-think stuff. Great player and hope ND really rolls out the red carpet for him in June.

He is currently visiting Kentucky. His dad used to be roommates with Vince Marrow (UK OL coach I believe and their big recruiter)

Am I drunk or did Wilfong just post this?

"Top247 WR Alex Ofodile tells me his top three is ND, Oregon and Michigan State. Mizzou, Kentucky and Oklahoma high on his list as well. Visits Penn State on June 9, Oregon on June 20 and trying to setup a return to ND in June."

247Sports Ohio Nike Football Training Camp Primer

If that's the top 3, I like our chances. Seemed like it was a Mizzou/OU battle.

Any chance that he said this to Wiltfong to give his announcement more shock value? Like he'll actually pick Mizzou or Oklahoma but said this to get some pub? Just spitballing. But I have to believe that Wiltfong would not have put in a CB if he didn't genuinely believe Ofodile.

This has been a great recruiting weekend with Barajas committing and lots of great news to go along with it. Getting this kid would be huge!

Still sounds like an OU, Mizzou and ND battle. Not sure what to make of Wiltfong's Oregon and MSU comment.

"whose going to have the kind of QB's that can get me the ball"

Out of that top group, we will clearly have the best QB situation with Malik, Deshone and Barnett.

That being said, his dad did play for Mizzou and he grew up a fan.

I'd put in a CB for him after that interview as well.
