Have you ever seen the Tudors? She is even hotter in that and I'm 99% sure we see her jugs multiple times.

Not even just her looks but she has that attitude. Lady swag lol.

Pretty sure this is the best thread on IE. Couple that with the other GoT threads and I can get lost for hours.

Bump

I demand my post episode theory talk. I only have a few things in life, this thread being one of them. My wife is a day drinker for gods sake. Help me out.

So they haven't followed the books as closely as you'd like. That's to be expected.

May I respectfully ask why it bothers you so much that the show does things differently than the book?

So they haven't followed the books as closely as you'd like. That's to be expected.
I don't mind many of the changes. It's the big, sweeping plot rewrites that make it impossible to follow either one without muddying details from the other. Cut out Strong Belwas, fine, but Stannis hooking up with the Iron Bank as a result of his quasi-alliance with Jon Snow is broad-stokes IMPORTANT.

I actually stopped watching the show after season 2.

Yeah, that's quite important.

Have some faith though...they've done a pretty decent job thus far.

Watched this episode a non-reader of the books. He was plenty shocked by Shae testifying. It didn't seem that the departure from the book of the Shae and Tyrion plot lessened the impact of her testimony. Maybe the directors know what they're doing.

I think they really screwed up the Shae testimony. In the book the whole point is that she actually was a whore who did not care about Tyrion. In the show it plays out that she's a sympathetic character and really did/does care about him. It will make her killing reflect way worse on Tyrion.

With that said, the end of the trial scene was awesome. Dinklage is a phenomenal actor.

"Sadly, my Lord, I never forget a thing." - Varys :) Lovely little line to set up the escape.

Maybe I'm just morally corrupt due to my intense rooting interest for Tyrion, but I'm not sure that it will reflect so badly on him. After the trial scene, my fiance (non-reader) said, "I hope someone kills her and every other person that testified."

At this point, I don't think non-readers are going to be fazed or think less of Tyrion once he kills her and Tywin. I'd imagine most will actually cheer the act. It's got to be almost accepted for them at this point that revenge killing isn't the most reprehensible thing there is.

Soooooooooo good. When the Rains of Castamere comes in all soft. Man that's awesome.

Give Dinklage all of the awards.

Here's a theory from /r/asoiaf about how the Iron Islands started as a sort of leper colony for those with Greyscale.

She's definitely hot, I'm just kind of over her after the Tudors and Elementary. I can't not think she's either Anne Boleyn or playing a mind trick behind the scenes to throw off Sherlock.

So people from Westeros shipped their people to the Iron Islands if they developed Greyscale?

I want Stannis and I think a lot of people in Westeros would like him too. Not too many people could hold a siege without mutiny like Stannis did at Storm's End.
