Can you imagine how much we'd be flipping out if FOUR of our recruits all of a sudden didn't show up on campus because they couldn't qualify? Wow.

3 of them were expected to fill needs immediately too right?

Wow.

I wanted him to be Irish so bad. This is why. He's one of those guys with just freakish athleticism.

oh the one that got away

What, the gif or the player?

I am sure he will turn out just fine, but we are in Junior Jabbie territory here :

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Notre Dame fans arrived at the Blue-Gold game eager to see highly touted quarterback Jimmy Clausen. They left talking about little-known tailback Junior Jabbie.

The Fighting Irish emphasized running rather than passing on Saturday. Coach Charlie Weis expects to see more of the same in the fall.

"I think one of the main things I wanted to come out here in the spring was to establish a toughness on the offense that I think we've gotten away from a little bit," Weis said. "That's why I wanted to see a heavy dose of pound-it runs."

Jabbie, who didn't carry the ball last season and did not play as a defensive back his first two years at Notre Dame, had 13 carries for 87 yards Saturday to lead the Gold team to a 10-6 victory. He had more than twice as many yards as the players expected to vie for the starting tailback spot.

Not saying this guy won't be great, but:
1). one play;
2). lineman has poor footwork; on heels already leaning backwards in center of gravity --- we probably never saw ZMart in that poor body position once in his career {look at lack of body lean --- not in athletic position};
3). lineman, whether due to that moment or just generally, had no "punch" at all. Good lineman like Zach can both "dance" and "punch" at the same time --- this fellow [on that one play] did neither.

My guess is that if Van Gorder had called a bull-rush we would see Day, Jones, Okwara, Trumbetti and a few others topple that lineman if he played it that poorly.

The real takeaway from the video is this a-hole mocking a teammate. Unless there is some "history" there, this is a cancerous presence.

That isn't randy, that is cantankerous. There is a big difference between the meanings of these words. If you have sexual imposition crimes on your record, that is probably why.

.... Randy left the building thirty years ago, about the same time Elvis did.

After, Buddy . . .

randy[*ran-dee ]

1. sexually aroused; lustful; lecherous.
