In addition to his relationship with BK, he is visiting ND for a week this summer. I'd say he is pretty strong.

This is going to be a tough one to hold on to regardless of what he is saying now. Get your popcorn ready folks. It's gonna be a dog fight.

if Bama dosent get a 5 star they can load up AJ McCarron/Greg McElroy types who dont mind waiting 2/3 years to play anyways.

Unless ND completely shits the bed this year or Kelly leaves.

Maybe irishglory is nervous because that article says that Barnett will likely take several visits?
He's going to be at ND barring an epic collapse on the field or Kelly leaving. The end.
No, it's what Lucky talked about above. A fishing expedition for slow season. Basically says he talks to Oregon once a month, and that Lane Kiffin called him a week ago or something, and that's basically it. Says the other schools are "great places" but that he wouldn't list anyone #2 behind Notre Dame. Talks about what he likes about them... because he was obviously prompted with a direct question asking him to list what's good about those schools.
You can just tell that the entire interview is nothing but asking him questions about Bama and Oregon and then the responses are phrased as best they can to give some intrigue. The copy surrounding the quotes is pretty funny.

Agree with the others. We're way out front.
I think ND is prolly out in front with this recruitment as well...however, now is the time to put our collective foot on the throats of the competition; I think the coaching staff up till this point has done a great job with his recruitment, I think they will stay the course.
SantiagoHS is 15mins away from my house, I definitely plan on seeing at least 2 games of Blake's this year...One, when they play Corona Centennial(maybe even see a ND recruiter there), and the other when Santiago comes to play @Riverside King.
Access to the field after HS games is easy. After a game go down and congratulate him on his 40 year decision and then just walk away.
His responses are simply him being respectful. They REALLY had to stretch it to make it seem like there could be further intrigue but he's as signed and sealed as any recruit I can remember.
heckuva trip for fitzpatrick...are these 7 on 7's national invite or can anyone attend?
wonder if they pay for travel
Many of the 7v7 teams are regional, and they have sponsors who pay for travel and accommodations. Last year, Snoop Dogg sponsored a team from southern California. It was disqualified for fighting. Fitzpatrick and Wimbush, teammates at St Peter's Prep, will play for the Bulls, a team with a few players from Texas. There is a Nevada team with four or five players from Bishop Gorman.
