I follow dublinirish on twitter, and this is a complete lie. You know the fans begging for a RT? That's him with every ND player.

Think Cole Luke will be full time #3 now as well. Last year he wore #3 during practice but #36 during games.

Unless he and Amir continue to play ST together, which I don't think will happen either since CL has to be favored to start at field corner, with KR on Boundary (or L/R or however they are going to do it).

Any updates on the enigmatic Corey Holmes?

Apparently he is doing fine.

Currently believed to be ahead of Brent in development, per ISD Intel. Thought that was interesting given that there is much more Brent talk around here (although not all football related).

keep forgetting we have him. Our WR core is deep as hell.

One other thing I forgot to mention: Staff is really happy with Corey's development overall, not just the WR skill development. ISD floated out that they may try him at corner to get him on the field if need be.

That's a long ass corner.

Not surprising that with the lack of an elite safety prospect in this class, the staff looks at the WR depth to evaluate who can fill any voids in the secondary. I don't doubt they'll make a good decision. WR is so deep that it won't really matter.

That's interesting. Was about to suggest Brent would be the most suited to move to safety.

Maybe move Butler to FS since he has more experience and move Corey to corner so he has time to develop there. Think that would be ideal.

confused why we would move a wr who is farther along in his development to a different position. seems counter intuitive.

Holmes played in 2014. Against Rice and Michigan.

Him and Brent are two of the players I'm most excited to see in the spring game. Coaches were saying some really encouraging things about Holmes during bowl practices.

Pardon the bump but can someone tell me what has been going on with him? Has he played? If not, why?

He's the 7th WR on the depth chart. He was jumped by ESB, and ESB is barely playing because he's behind Will Fuller and Kelly doesn't take Fuller off the field. I thought I saw him play some mop-up time against Texas when we were just running out the clock by running the ball out last two possessions.
