That lineup makes Earle Combs, Mark Koenig, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bob Meusel and Tony Lazzeri look like a stack of weenies!

Having too many Hopslams and watching "Big Trouble in Little China." Hindsight just told me I dropped the ball on my first VDay as a married man.....

On further thought, what the hell are you (a newlywed) doing on-line on Valentine's Day, especially with IE degenerates?

We got a bunch of snow again yesterday, and stayed in. I managed to clean the fridge out of stray beers, so it was far from a bust!

This still doesn't answer the question: "Why the hell were you on-line?"

Was the wife stone cold passed out?

Was this some bizarre "afterglow posting" ritual???

What beers?

Which sour beer? I love a good sour. Unfortunately there are too many average and below sour beers.

Pepper beers are the same, prob the best one time micro brews I've have were various jalapeño browns and such, but most beers brewed with peppers are gag worthy... So...

I keep trying pepper beers. I have no idea why, as I haven't found one that I can take more than a sip from.

Just hit the mother lode

Found a local store where the manager told me what time they get Three Floyd's delivered. Went there and got me a 6 of Gumballhead. Unfortunately that's the most they will sell at one time but at least I got it!

I wonder, what with recent decisions in Colorado and Washington, will there soon be a "What are You Smoking (Wat r u tokin'?) thread?

So I have to be careful with the IPad... I just re-read this and my original post, I don't how wooly even read it... anyway, he got the point... sorry about that.

There is a brewery in Columbia Missouri, ‘Flatbranch Brewing’, that did a Jalapeno Brown... it was sincerely one of the best beers I've ever had. There is one here in Redlands California, ‘Donkey Punch Brewing’, they do a Jalapeno, Lemon, Wheat... good, and legitimately spicy... an 'experience beer' for sure... I would put both on my “Every Beer Drinker’s Bucket List” as they are both very different but also very good beers.

With that said, the vast majority of pepper beers I have had are basically undrinkable… just as Wooly stated.

On a side note, my pallet is really changing… I was a huge IPA guy for years… English Pub Ales would have been my second choice… I picked up some Lagunitas last week… can’t drink it. It’s weird. My buddy brought some IPA for the Super Bowl… didn’t enjoy it either. This ‘change’ occurred not long after a real nasty stomach bug so idk… but now I prefer light lagers over anything. Is what it is.

Odell Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout. Damn this is very good and dangerously drinkable for 8.5%.

Matt's Burning Rosids. Cherrywood smoked saison style. Amazing beer made in tribute for a Stone employee who died way too young.

Any good? Almost bought it last time I was at the store...

For me, Clown Shoes Undead Party Crasher. Imperial stout that I believe is the same as Vampire Slayer just a different name due to some litigation.

If you like the Saison you'll love it. Crazy drinkable for being a 10.5

Nice, thanks. I do like Saisons, as least good Saisons. I'll be sure to pick some up.

Side note...had a Saisons from Brasserie DuPont a few months ago that was 3.5% Abv. Seriously, what's the point?

Dogfish 90 minute tonight. Always been a fan but it is becoming my go-to when I just want to have something I enjoy and don't feel too experimental.

Yeah, you'd like that wouldn't you? Damn, dirty hippies with their reefer and dungarees.
