I think they have been disappointing. The one with Colbert was OK, but there hasn't been anything special IMO.

I didn't see any during the 1st quarter, but these have been lame.

Didn't I say, in another thread, that I don't give a flying fig?

The only Super Bowl ad I really remember is the 1984 "1984" Apple ad.

An unusual ad, with a literary twist/depiction for a new and unusual product was riveting and entertaining.

For the most, it's just another fucking football game on another fucking Sunday.

Fine. Spend time with friends. Eat good shit. Drink till you're blind.

Just find a way to get home safely and sleep it off.

Creativity and imagination are almost nonexistent these days. Wit is extinct. If it's made for TV, it has to be done at about a third grade level.

And how does that make you feel?

The full Bud Light one was pretty good, but I saw it the night before.
80s one was probably my favorite tonight, they had me at the DeLorean.
The one with Stamos, Sagat, and Coulier was alright too. The rest were meh.

Like the old, out-of-touch-hippie-contrarian-with taste-and-judgement that I am.

Oh, and yipee skippy Seattle! So sad, so bad, Denver. It's just a shame that whichever Manning it was leaves on such a sour note.

The only football that means shit is that which involves Notre Dame.

This might have been funnier than some of the commercials:

Check out the video here.
Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith interrupted by 9/11 truther - CBSSports.com

And a Tweet:

An ad only Steve Jobs could have pulled off at the time. Strange but effective "anti-establishment" ad to say the least.

Going against the popular here, but I liked the Tebow commercials. Anyone that can go with the flow and poke fun at themselves gets a thumbs up in my book.

What's that going against? Twitter and everyone I've spoken to loved the Tebow commercials.

Haha I guess it was mostly the people I was with during the game. For some reason my friends have this irrational dislike for Tebow.

I liked them and I love the whole No Contract thing. That angle was pure genius.

The Tebow commercials were good. But they weren't great.

I liked the Budweiser "Welcome Home" commercial because America.

I also liked the Tebow commercials because it's cool to see him embrace the "no contract" thing (plus he's just a good dude).

Other than that, I was disappointed. I thought the commercial at the very beginning with the kid whispering a story was going to be an intro for some badass alien movie or something, and I got really pumped, but then it was a Maseratti commercial. It started off things on a bad note for me immediately.
