It's brilliant, really. Simultaneously highlights ND's greatest advantages, filters out most of the bullshit that other programs seem to be focusing on, and ensures that Kelly's pitch stands out.

FYI Oklahoma's graduation rate is a dazzling 47%
Wow, that is just terrible.
40%. 2nd worst among BCS schools.
100% grad rate or 40% grad?
This is such a tough question... Let me think![/QUOTE
I really hope BK showed him OU's as well as ours. Have to think he would.

Is OU always so low?? That actually hurts a bit, my wife is a Sooner, my brother in law taught there, also an alum... I like Stoops a lot... really expected better.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but the grad rates, are those including both players that leave early for the NFL and players that can't cut it academically and just drop out? I'm so proud of ND's grad rate. That is an awesome achievement. But I imagine some schools could really sell to the recruits that the rason their grad rate is lower is because of all the players who leave for the NFL after their junior year. For players who care that much about going pro, that would be a good selling point. ND doesn't typically have too many guys leave early but in the last few years that hasn't been due to lack of opportunity. Guys like Manti, Nix, and Eifert chose to stay for their senior seasons. This year we have had a bit of bad luck with guys staying.
It does not count those that leave early for the league so it has no impact on these %'s.
So are our mods, so.... no one really knows
Quick's coach said during the meeting Quick was "big-eyed" as Kelly talked about the academics and the grad rate and life after football and what ND can do for you. The coach said that he thought all three schools (ND/OU/UCLA) were running even heading into the visit but now he doesn't know. Per Wiltfong.
Basically, it sounds like Kelly hit it out of the park on this visit.
5 of 6 Rivals.com recruiting analyst are predicting OU here.
Do we have a better than 50% chance to land Quick?

I agree, I like our chances for a couple of these guys and if we get a couple it will be icing on the cake. We already have a top 10 class.
