MSU just recently hired Curtis Blackwell to be recruiting coordinator. He ran the Sound Mind and Sound Body camp. Supposedly his connections are strongest in Detroit, specifically Cass Tech where Jayru goes to school.

Here's a tweet from 5 Star pOSU commit Damon Webb also from Cass Tech that has Buckeye fans a little nervous.

Cass Tech produces too many players for Michigan to take. Michigan is bringing in only 18-20 in 2014 and probably 12-15 in 2015. They don't have a lot of room.

MSU landed 3 players from Cass Tech recently. 3* OT Dennis Finley in 2013, 4* LB Deon Drake in 2014, and probable 4* QB Jayru Campbell in 2015. Michigan didn't offer any of them.

2015 RB Mike Weber was offered, but Damien Harris beat him to the punch and now Weber might not have a spot. Michigan is only taking 12-15 kids in 2015 and already have 5 commits.

If MSU takes Joshua Alabi from Michigan, then I'll be worried. But right now they really haven't taken any kids from Cass that Michigan wanted. I think Michigan has only lost like 3 kids from Cass that they really wanted Dior Mathis, Damon Webb, and Vernon Gholston.

MSU has always recruited dual threat QB's every other year but rarely have they made it onto the field. Will be interesting to see what Campbell can do in East Lansing.

Campbell isn't a dual threat QB though. I don't know why 247 lists him at that, if they ever saw film of him are watched him play they'd know he is a passer first and foremost. He's honestly not that fast or elusive.

not sure if you have played before, but some of this shit people do at the bottom of the pile...u never know if he deserved it.....especially with losing...NOT JUSTIFYING..just saying i can understand frustration if something happened w/ the kid during the game
