We really need this guy. Hope we can reel him in.

On another note, I'm eager to see what BVG thinks about Jalen Brown. I feel he is by far our most physical corner ala Kendall Moore at ILB (they both lay the wood) and I think that given a chance could be a player for us.

I hope so. I have always loved Browns physical attributes.

I really do not think we need this guy, but the staff thinks he is very talented so he may be exceptional

Plus, it helps with recruiting in Louisiana...... something we've not been able to do a whole lot of over the past 10-15 years with regularity!!

Christian on ISD just spoke with him following his visit, with a full story coming soon. Sure sounds like ND hit a home run on this visit.

He really likes the opportunity to see the field early, even on kick and punt return. The staff was more than pleased with his size. Likes the academic support he'd receive and he wants to pursue computer science. Says he feels like he'd fit in well with the current players because they are similar to him, wanting to be successful on and off the field. He also said he weather wouldn't be a factor, knowing there are ways to deal with it. Everyone is still even, he'll evaluate everything after his Ole Miss visit and announce on NSD. Also said there is a "high chance" of choosing Notre Dame.

Yeah, he kind of raved about the visit to Wiltfong too. Nice. Likes coaching staff, loves the coaches' chemistry. Loves the ND tradition and family atmosphere.

We knew academics was important to him. ND had to impress him in some other ways, and it looks like it did that.

Wants to major in computer science... only negative I took away from the ISD recap. Think it will come down to the in-homes from Shaw/Kelly. Definitely sounds like we made a great impression though.

Yeah Stanford will be tough to beat on the comp sci angle, but it appears the academic people he spoke with showed him how his interest in computer science would fit into the business school and he liked what he heard.

Ha anyone know how tall BK is? Would love to know Alexander's real height. Looks like he's got a solid 2 inches on Kelly.

There's an IT major in the business school that is really boss. Lots of kids take it and get great jobs working for IBM, etc.

That makes him at least 5'6".

Just kidding. Having two inches on Kelly isn't much to hang your hat on. But he looks like he has almost half a head!

My feeling is that any school should have a decent IT program today. So the one at the school with the number one business school would be it. As a kid today, unless I wanted to do something specifically technically, I would get a business degree and a second major, or minor in IT, and then pursue it on graduation. It all changes so fast that once you get in with a company, they are going to train you the way they want.

Kid sounds Irish to me. Hopefully he cancels his Ole Miss visit

He is adamant about taking that visit, and that he will basically sit down and figure out where is best for him right after that. I think he commits before NSD.

Definitely not that tall (the 5'10 listed). Probably in the 5' 8 range. But a good kid, and an athlete. Cole did great with him. and most telling... (hopefully about the girls)

I believe he said the coaches told him he is taller than they thought he was. I also saw his SPARQ score from one of the camps and it had him at 5'10 177. Maybe he is closer to 5'8 but did the camp just not measure him?

I think the camps are pretty accurate on height, and the chances of a seventeen or eighteen year old growing? He could be 5'11" easily. (accurately).

Wiltfong CB to ND!!!

Wow interesting, considering he had literally just said it was too early to tell who led and he wanted to let the visit marinate for Alexander before assessing who had the best shot.

BK is at least 5'8" (I remember him saying something during the Sun Bowl about loving cowboy boots because 5'9" guys will take any help they can get).

Shoe/tippy toes equal, I'd say judging by that picture Alexander is at least 5'10".
