Whatever. Right choice wrong choice, he trolled. And he's not ready. He's been a blocking TE for what, two years tops? Are you serious?

This is stupid. You would think at least his parents would have talked him out of it.

This moron just lost millions. And I'm not talking simply about his lack of a degree (which I think he doesn't have, correct?)

Why would you leave early to go in a draft where there are 3 highly rated TEs clearly above you, when you can come back, instantly be a top NFL TE prospect, and see a ton of balls with EG back and TJ gone.

Makes no sense to me. I thought his father had told ESPN he was coming back too? Did I dream that?

Makes absolutely no sense and anyone who says otherwise is a moron. Would've been just about locked in to being the #1 TE next year. Could go as low as 5th in this draft... maybe lower.

Dumb dumb dumb dumb.

Is Kelly leaving or some shit? That's the only thing that would explain something this stupid.

Horrible decision. Has the potential to have a breakout year with Golson under center. Instead of being a 1st-2nd rounder he'll go in the 4th-6th rounds.

He was in my old dorm, and a bunch of people I know who live there still are really surprised to hear this. Don't know what happened. He was in a few of my classes and he always seemed to like being at ND, so not enjoying his time at ND certainly doesn't seem to be the reason to do this.

Either way, as everyone else has stated, this is about as dumb a decision as someone can make. Option 1: Work your way into a higher round, while completing your degree to set yourself up for more success in EVERY WAY. Option 2: Leave early, most likely getting drafted in the fourth round at best, without your degree. Which seems like the good choice? Hmm...
