Double standard?

Saban signs a contract - no longer a candidate for Texas.

Fisher signs a contract - still a viable option for Texas.

SMH

How is it a double standard? The terms of the respective contracts are what determine these things.

I guess I just don't see that as a double standard.

I think ESPN is interested in SEC stability in a way that they are not interested in other conferences. It's their crown jewel, they definitly promote it.

Franklin is one of the few coaches in the history of ever to basically make public comments alluding to "I'm interested in anything that is out there, pick up the phone and call me."

The only way he's still at Vandy after this season is if he doesn't get an offer from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 school.

An interesting scenario to me, is Golden to PSU and Franklin to Miami. I think both would be good fits.

Why would Golden leave Miami? PSU is a step down in an even worse conference.

agree. he has been adding some nice talent in Miami and seems to have the keys to the castle. PSU, based on O'Brien's commentary, is still holding onto the past.

Why would PSU want Golden? I really haven't seen what the big thing about him is.

and I agree with that as well, LOLOL. his team remains undisciplined and quit when down. he looks dapper in the orange tie though.

While I agree, I think Golden is kind of a NE type of guy.....I could be way off base, but he strikes me as the type of person found in the northeastern U.S......just an opinion.

If he's a NE type of guy then he's perfect for Miami.

Seriously, are you always a negative nancy. If he picks Vandy ill eat crow but c'mon is this shit that you think about?

Negative nancy? No idea what you're talking about. I don't think I've ever made a post claiming we act like we don't care if a recruit goes elsewhere.

I was just continuing with a joke that everyone else uses.

Again, a joke.

Is Nyles not part of ESPN's 300? Because they just showed the recruits on it that are announcing Saturday, and he wasn't mentioned. Can't believe that.

Edit: He's 65th. Very strange.

He's at the Army All American game, not Under Armour
