I'd love to see us lock down any combination of those 3 this weekend.

Ole Miss just picked up their second ILB of the class so maybe they're feeling less confident about him. If Sykes does commit this weekend, I like where we stand.

Me2SouthBend: I watched Nelson's senior film. You are right, that one is much better. I'm routing for McKenzie over Nelson, just because McKenzie's highlights are crazy to me and he seems to really love ND, but talent wise there's no difference IMO.

Right coast, but wrong latitude(29N Daytona Beach) Scott! The sweet spot for division 1 football prospects lies between 27N and 26N(Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade). You and Alford need to get back on I 95, and head south.

Not sure, but it seems at this point like a forgone conclusion we take Nelson and the McKenzie may not have spot. I think the two are mutually exclusive, but maybe not depending on how things shake out. Simple fact is The odds are against McKenzie qualifying.

I've always felt they started recruiting Nelson to cover for the possibility of Mckenzie not qualifying. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me if they ended up with both if IM's scores are good. While the numbers don't show that, there is always a surprise with transfers, medicals, 5th years that we never see.

What makes Nelson's skill set so attractive is that he plays at a high level on both sides of the ball. Like Russell, he may end up as a cover corner. And like Kinlaw, Charles does have an injury history.

He's 5'8. I don't see him playing CB for the Irish.
