Remember when people, Dan Patrick and others on the board, said they were going to get Jon Gruden? lol

Have to assume Alex Flanagan will be coaching tight ends. Amirite?

Don't really believe this but
No truth to the report that Ed Orgeron is trying to get the #FAU job, per source.

9,000 vbucks (all I have) says it's Sarkesian.
I think my position on the hire is pretty clear by now but I'll add this. USC is a top 5 job (fact, not opinion). Is Sark a top 20 coach, let alone close to the top 5? IMO, no.
People would flip a shit on this site if Sark was our head coach next season, and the ND job is on the same level as USC. That's why this hire is trending towards disaster.
Pat Haden says he interviewed 5 candidates, but only offer was to Sarkisian, who said this AM he didn't interview for #USC job.

Sumlin
Petersen
Lovie Smith
Jack Del Rio
Sark
those the 5?
Was there a top five coach out there???
Irish Pat and I need a talk to see who was actually Charlie Kelly first. I feel like it was me but then I left and I don't know if he tried to take over as the boards biggest jackass. Regardless him and I have to figure it out.
Obviously not. But I don't even think he is even a top 20 head coach. My point is that this hire isn't good relative to the value of the job. If USC can't get a guy like Peterson, Franklin, or Sumlin to coach there, we don't have a lot to worry about.
Could ND hire Orgeron?
To be honest, I wouldn't have even been too impressed by Peterson getting hired. He put Boise in the spotlight, but they have been average ever since Moore, Pettis and Young left.
Feel free to reassume your Charlie Day avatar. Just not the "biggest board jackass" title.

So, Orgeron quits after Sark is named coach. I assume Sark isn't coaching the team for their bowl game. So, USC will be on their 3rd head coach of the season, 2nd interim![]()
But I wanna know who had it first
