Good point.

I still submit he might be the best rusher at the moment but that doesn't make him the starter in this offense.

I've never seen a running back at Notre Dame that can make a cut and then accelerate that fast. And he's just a freshman, Kelly found a really good one!

He is absolutely the best rusher, completely agree with you. It was interesting what BK said post-game in that it wasnt the mental aspect of his game that held him back but his conditioning. Now, that could be BK protecting him publicly but still interesting.

BK is real media saavy.

Notre Dame's best running back by far. Not even a close second. You could tell this a while back when he was getting clean up duty. Its ashame it took them so long to realize. I just believe they liked the idea of Cam not messing up more so than him being an amazing athlete. GA III has had flashes of good running due to his speed, but is to inconsistent in the running game and unreliable at catching the ball.

Back to the press conference. Clearly Kelly said that it was not mental toughness with Tarean. That is the way the reporter phrased it, kind of rolling all the non physical issues together.

Kelly took the opportunity to explain how this guy could explode on the scene with over 140, and not have been showing it all along. The perfect answer was because it was physical conditioning.

Kelly has two problems, a wealth of underclass talent that is exploding and a defensive coordinator that should be.

I guess I'm hoping for a mix of your picture and the other one. The other one is more of a cool action shot And TF is featured in the picture. In yours the navy player dominates.

Tarean looks better than either Cierre Wood or Theo Riddick as freshmen. BUT we have to remember that this was Navy and their d is pretty weak and both their nose guards were injured. He does look very good, but... Looking forward to a Folston/Bryant tandem is pretty sweet.

haha I wasn't looking for the vbuck handout, just saying you could at least see the number. I'll look around to see if there is a better shot of the play.

If the game is online to watch, just FF to that play, and take a screenshot with your phone. You can crop it to your liking afterwards.

In the follow-up comments from the article, JC Schurburt says he has always thought Folston was the best RB that ND signed in the last cycle.
