If Hendrix follows, that's 3 recruits from Texas. Coach Cooks is making inroads.

Anyone know which position Kinlaw is currently slotted at? Is it CB or S?
I know that defensive backfield looks crowded, but Kinlaw may be the most athletic of the bunch and shouldn't be forgotten.
hes scout team QB, i think this means he dosen't even practice at DB right?
^ThisI remember reading that earlier in the year, but is that still the case? I thought that was due to the Zaire sickness leading to Massa getting 3rd string reps which led to Kinlaw playing scout team QB. I could be wrong.
Anyway, I looked at his ND bio and it has him at corner. Obviously the depth chart Irishman posted looks crowded, but I wouldn't write Kinlaw off yet. The plan all along was to redshirt him and I wouldn't be surprised if we hear glowing remarks about him at the end of the season.
did Cooks really tweet Nick by name?
if so what a moron
(can always say his account was hacked...that seems to be the trend these days anyway)
“Notre Dame is Notre Dame,” stated the Texas native bluntly. “It has a beautiful campus, great people, great opportunity and the coaches and players are family, so it doesn't get much better than that. If I don't make it to the NFL, which I'm hoping I will, I'll have a great Notre Dame degree to fall back on, so to me the decision was a no-brainer.”
From ISD, getting some quotes before the Under-Armour game:
Yes.
love hearing recruits talk like this. it's all about putting yourself in the best position possible to succeed.Quote:

Yes, yes. Love these type of kids.
Honestly the only way I think he could potentially leave is if Saban went to UT and extended an offer. I don't think Bama ever had the room for him and the current UT staff passed on him, said he was too slow.
