Awesome recruiter, but I don't like the way the run blocking has taken a step back this year. Pass blocking has been superb, just disappointed we haven't really established a running game. I still like Heistand more than Warriner, but I kind of feel like Warriner got the run game moving again for us. Maybe last year was a carry over from that, maybe it's all coincidence. I do realize that teams have been stacking the box quite a bit this year on us.
Having Warriner gone was one of the greatest things to happen to ND.
I still like Heistand more, but it still looks like the running game is regressing a bit since Warriner left. OSU hasn't done too shabby with Warriner either, their OL has improved. Great pass blocking this year for us, very few sacks given up, and great recruiting...just wish our run game was further along.
is Mama a Mormon too?
9 minutes. 9 minutes it took.
We're 96th in rushing yards this season. When Warriner came in we steadily were getting better at running the ball each year it looked like. Last year was the most rushing yards we've had in several years, and I realize Warriner was gone for that, but I wonder if it was as a result of a building effort. We've regressed this season, and we really could have used a stronger running game to take away the pressure from Tommy.

Tommy is part of the reason why there's pressure on the running game. The other part I would add in is the inexperience at the RB position. Last year we had Riddick and Wood to shoulder the load.
Teams can stack the box against Tommy which is why it is important for him to establish some type of an aerial attack early in a game.

ok..back to tyler
Personally, I say keep him at RT. Especially, in the worst case scenario of no Golson, it would be nice to have Malik's blind side covered.
I like Elmer at LT and hopefully someone steps in and takes LG over (looking at you Mama).
Adam Gorney from Rivals says Luatua will take Bama trip but he's all ND. Says Mama and JuJu loved their visit and are seriously considering joining Luatua in South Bend. Mama and Luatua are especially close.

So let me get this straight...what you are saying is ND gets all the best recruits whose names end in vowels?
And to keep the vowel theory going... it has been rumored that if the three commit to the same school them current Bama commit Viane Talamaivao will join them.
