I found it but don't think I get it. Might be SOL this week, watching the game a local watering hole.
I get the B1G network but one channel down to CBS Sports isn't coming through. Not good.

Do you have the Extreme HD package? If so, it's part of that, but sadly not in HD. If not, they have a sports package for $10/mo that includes it. You could order it for the day then cancel and pay like $.30 ($10 pro-rated).

That's exactly what i have... off memory, when I saw this topic brought up, I thought I had it in non-HD... but I went online and it says I don't get it as part of Extreme... I'll check to make sure tonight.
If not I'll almost certainly add it like you suggested... I was already a step ahead and looking at the prices..

If I'm Notre Dame I'm not even playing Big Lou, Tuitt, and bad-ankle Day in this game. I'm making sure they stay healthy and away from chop/cut blocks. They aren't needed to win and there's a big risk. I'm thinking Ishaq/Shembo/Okwara at DE with Schwenke + Stockton on the inside. Or at least something similar to that. 4 man front a must.

My apologies, it's the Ultimate HD package that has it included. You can still add the package for the day, though I would suggest adding it Fri AM just in case you run into an order issue that takes a little time to get cleared. Standard def only, channel 94 I think.

On one hand, I completely agree with you. On the other hand, I don't like the thought of disrespecting a service academy by openly sitting your top guys. I think you play those guys very sparringly, but you play them nonetheless if they are able to go. Those players at the service academies deserve to get our best players and our best efforts. It would be too huge of an "F-you" if you didn't even give them the respect to play those guys.

The obvious angle to take here is you play your guys for a quarter or so and start pulling them... after the year ND has had, against a depleted Air Force team that wasn't expected to be one of their better teams anyway, you have to expect ND finally nails one down early... if and when ND gets up two or more scores.... go with the LAX plan...

Totally agree. I just don't think you don't put them in for at least a few series. I have seen coaches do that before (not ND) and it just looks bad. If they can get up by a few scores in the first half, then you absolutely sit those guys.
Although, maybe this is the game we bring in Big Lou in the offensive backfield for a goal line situation.

Hendrix. We need him to get some confidence back. AF would be the best way to do that if the game allows it. We may need him again this year [though I pray we don't], and if we do we don't want a repeat performance.

For some reason, if Tommy is out this week and Hendrix comes into the game as "the man" with a week of practice I'm expecting something like 350 all-purpose yards and 4 TDs. I think with him it's all about playing confident/care free instead of cautious. In 2011 when he got spot duty against Air Force with a comfortable lead to be confident, he dominated. When Tommy was getting wrecked by Stanford and there was no way he could do any worse, he was really darn effective just going out there and playing.
But against FSU in the bowl game and USC last night when he was thrust into action with an indeterminate leash and it was a tight game with us having a slim lead... mistakes. All of them looked like brain farts. I bet if you said "Tommy can't play, Zaire can't play, you are the only guy and you're going to go out there and execute like we all know you can do" he'd play a lot better than "oh **** Tommy was rolling and it's cold/raining against our biggest rival at night and we have a slim lead that we need you to protect against a very aggressive/talented defense... don't mess it up."
