chances of him committing to Benjamin Franklin, sorry Ole Miss this weekend?
IMO, no doubt that Core 6 has played a very negative role for us in this recruitment. We were in really good shape at the start of the recruitment and then were all but eliminated.
I'd like to think this means there is some legit interest if coming on his own dime.
Or he's not incredibly interested and wants to keep room for other officials.

As of now I'm gonna side with him wanting to save his officials for places farther away. With that said as long as we can get him back to campus we at least have a punchers chance.

Haha. I didn't think too hard about that gas mileage.
But surely Nyles Morgan drives a nice, reliable, fuel-efficient automobile, no?
Holy cow! He looked very impressive in those highlights. Looked extremely fast for an ILB and his instincts and recognition seemed amazing too. Not to mention he can lay the lumber. Just brought a whole new level of interest to this recruitment for me. Hope we can somehow get this guy in blue and gold.
He's violent.
Given recent events, ND's high propensity for elite transfers, his affiliation with Core 6, and his dad being more pro-ND than Nyles (from most reports), I worry that he would be a flight risk once he gets here. Obviously it could be a Manti Te'o scenario where he starts by midseason and all is well. But if he doesn't fit in culturally, I worry.
This is all very far in the future and obviously the dominoes have to fall in our favor to even get to this point.
The only thing that makes me optimistic about this recruitment is the thin depth chart at ILB. He's got to see that he'll have every opportunity to start next year. Not saying he will, just that with Fox and Calabrese graduating, the door is open. Proximity to home doesn't seem to matter much by itself, but I'm hoping that it might matter when combined with the thinness of the depth chart at ND.
