What exactly does a crew do on this game?

Basically just makes it so that we will be within each others world if/when we go online.

Generally it seems like the most "productive" thing you can do is set up heists together and rob places. The tricky part is that you can backstab each other to get the full take instead of splitting it. But if anyone does that, you can put a bounty on their head.

That sounds awesome. I've only seen about 20 secs of online and it looks unreal.

Never ever EVER do the triathlons unless you are desperate for 100% completion. I just finished the 3rd triathlon, took me 30 minutes!! They bait you in cause the first 2 are only 3-5 minutes then the last one is 30 minutes long.

Yeah, you picked the wrong game lol. I usually stay out of the strip club if the wife is in the room, although that's only allowed me to go one time She's engrossed in watching the action. The one time I did go I was successful in getting a stripper to like me and let me take her back to her apartment. She then called me a few days later asking me to pick her up. The wife was like "Who is that calling?" "Uhh...nobody."

Alas, I am a broken man with no free time to spend on such frivolities (as my wife usually points out). To miss out on SkyRim and GTA V... dang.....

It seems like it was only yesterday that I last played GTA (1999) and Oblivion (2002).

Same here. Morrowind and Oblivion consumed me for months. I still haven't been able to play Skyrim or Fallout 3.

It looks allot more cartoonish than IV. I think the driving feels better than in IV. I am mixed on the vehicles. I like how easy it is to keep your car. Not as much a throw away thing as before. I don't like however how hard it is to damage a car. You can run into something without damaging the car at all. Overall I like V better just wish the cars damaged more like in IV. I could also use the vulgar language cut a bit. It feels more like they throw more language in than they possibly could just to be as vulgar as possible. My $.02

It works with the game. Allows you to upgrade your cars,take care of your dog Chop, etc.
I can't stop playing this game!

Yeah, it hasn't been working for me either. I'm in limbo right now, I beat the game and can not wait for the online to be released.
