haha best part "How'd that get out?" he asks. "Less than 50 people know that."

he hired someone more stupid than himself.

where I'm from if 50 people knew that meant the whole town had heard.

I was thinking the same thing. If he had said only 2 people knew about that then you have a 50/50 shot at guessing who the tattler was. But 50? You ain't finding out and it's not shocking that it got out. I would be questioning how it didn't get out much, much sooner.

You mean the Benz?

I know... I'm part of the I'mtoogoodforitalics crew

It really was an excellent article. Makes you feel a little bad for the kid. He has some serious issues. I for one know that if my kid were chucking golf clubs all over the golf course, we would be going home immediately and he'd lose some privileges. You have to punish that sort of behavior.

He's still a dooshnozzle and needs to get pummeled into the ground.

Y! SPORTS

Oh stop, it's only a C class.

I'm not a Justin Bieber fan or Britney Spears but I know so many people that have defended Johnny Manziel for his childish, immature behavior and those same people hate Justin Bieber because of his tantrums and anger issues. Other than the fact that Justin already makes a lot of money for what he does, there is no difference between the 2. Except for the fact Justin was younger than Johnny while trying to handle the pressure.

And I remember all of the haters coming down hard on Manti for all the fake girlfriend stuff and the ones who may have believed he was a victim still thought it wasn't cool that he lied about meeting her. But all in all, Manti handled that entire situation so much better than Johnny has handled a little fame. The minute the haters come out and start giving him a hard time, he acts like a spoiled little brat and Manti never responded to any of the douchebags that were calling him names and spreading more and more lies. He handled himself with the class that he always showed while attending ND. I will say I am much happier knowing ND had a man like Manti Te'o representing our Lady than a punk like Johnny Manziel. I don't care if he is the best QB ever. A&M can have him and sounds like they don't want him for much longer, either.

After reading the story it appears that Johnny got most of his dad's genes. Frankly, both of them need their as*es whipped.

They both faced physical discipline from their parents growing up. My amateur psychoanalysis of Paul and Jonathan is that their shared anger management issues derive from this unfortunate aspect of their otherwise privileged childhoods. So, while I'd love to see them each get their as*es whipped, I doubt that would change who they are.

Let's just sit back, relax, and enjoy the train wreck unfolding in front of our eyes. And come week 3 of the CFB season, Roll Tide!

in just reading the article and other pieces on him some things that come to mind are:

1. his behavior is cyclical of the family..obviously not to the point of national media attention because they weren't superstar sports figures but the article strongly suggests this

2. underlying mental health issues: def has some anxiety issues (not social) being masked by alcohol at all attempts

yes he comes off as a complete D#CK but i would imagine once you get beyond all of the layers of him trying to be something he isn't....he is just a scared little boy inside

correct because he seems to have a GREAT family influence...seems like they have been living off of granddaddy's fortune and want to cash in again on his son's fame..whatever the costs of it...

your job as a parent is to model appropriate behavior, teach your kids right from wrong, instill morals etc etc....and what that jackass did from the article suggests that johnny is just replicating daddy

yes responsibility falls on johnny but he certainly didn't sound like he had help along the way to correct things...dad was only enabling the behavior

totally! and then this oh I can't handle him when he's angry...GROW SOME BALLS DUDE! Man up and be a Father! And you know he will blame the school for all of this despite him only being there for what 3 years.

This article needs a follow up where they interview HS classmates/locals etc who can confirm that Johnny was indeed a douche before he went to college.

After reading the article as a father, I personally would not have allowed a reporter to follow my family around knowing how my son acts. If my son was going to play a round of golf with me complete with 5 year old temper tantrums, that would be one of the last places I would want a reporter to observe my son who already has an extremely fragile public image. In addition, there's no way in hell I am going to let my underage kid order a beer in front of a reporter! I am not saying college kids cant drink, but at least be discreet about it. The fact that they are not is just confirmation that their thoughts are that rules don't apply to them. Overall his family did not do him any favors (or his brilliant PR buddy for that matter) in allowing this access to take place. If they come out and blames anyone other than themselves for this bad PR, They are just as clueless as JFF himself.

If true, this is a LOT of money and goes far beyond weed & tats at Ohio State.... and he is done playing CFB. Sadly, this will make Alabama's path to undefeated a total joke.

This doesn't pass the logic test for me. Why would a rich kid (and I mean rich) sign footballs for $10k or $5k? It just isn't that believable to me. He could of called pops and had 20k wired over right away.

I'm throwing the BS flag.

True, Why would any rich person want more money?
