I know its early but I figured I'd make a thread because his name has been popping up a lot on the camp circuit and he has really impressed and has a lot of interest in ND. He played 5 games for Jaylon Smith's HS as a freshman.

Young QB Attracts Attention

“I talked with Coach Martin a lot and I talked with Coach Kelly a little bit too after the camp,” Wezensky said. “Coach Martin said they really liked me and he said they’re going to keep recruiting me and hopefully I can get back for a game this fall.

“It felt really good. It just proves that hard work pays off and I’ve got to keep working.”

Despite being one of the youngest signal-callers at the event, Wezensky certainly attracted Kelly’s attention.

“We were doing one-on-ones and I threw a pass,” Wezensky explained. “I heard him say to Coach Martin, ‘That kid’s the best one here.’ As soon as I heard that, I got pumped up. I talked with him a little bit about Notre Dame afterward, so that was a good time.”

Not a bad highlight video for a freshman. Good mechanics for the most part, you could see him survey the whole field, good accuracy. Actually reminds me a bit of Tommy Rees lol. Probably because he's white.

Who?

And thank god you're not in charge of recruiting.

Rosen and Beneventi IMO are much better then him but there is quite a few QBs in 15 that are much better then him.

0 ILB for 15
2 DL for 15

positions of need and 2 offers

You're aware that there is no limit to how many offers the staff puts out, or how many guys they want to keep in contact with, right?

Justin Hilliard is a 2015 ILB that's coming this weekend, has an offer and the staff has him near the top of the overall board. This should be viewed as a positive. Not sure I see why this kid coming on a visit and Rosen/beneventi being better have anything to do with each other. They should be better and we are recruiting them. Lastly we are following probably 10+ 2015 QBs right now. Only offered a couple which is fine but we are actively recruiting quite a few.

Not to fill his thread with this.

But we have 28 offers out right now to the 2015 recruiting group. That we need to get out and get these out to positions of need. And i understand we have well over a year to the national signing for them. But in this day and age you have to get in with a lot of these kids early because they are making their decisions earlier. and we are behind a lot of the top programs in offers. I also understand that we are going to offer all the same kids that Clemson would.

The staff is pretty slow to offer kids because in most cases they only offer if they are willing to accept a commitment which is different from some schools. With that said if you've been following 2015 recruiting the last two weeks since we started sending mail and we are all over a lot of top 2015 kids. There is probably an article everyday on BGI or II about a 2015 kid that has been in contact or received a lot of mail from ND and invites to games.

Methuselah Candidate?

Methuselah Candidate?

Per ISD

The knee is doing a lot better now, according to Wezensky, who was 10-for-15 for over 100 years and a touchdown in his only appearance so far this season.

I'd be concerned those knees ... "over 100 years"

Im not sure Noah will get an ND offer. Kid has some talent, but its hard to tell what exactly the Luers staff is doing. Noah is getting some regional attention from ND, Msu, but yet doesnt start for his high school team.

Not sure I'm as concerned about that. After reading that article it seems a sophomore is sharing reps with a senior, and that seems normal to me. Trying to win now and practice for the future. He even says that next year is the big year as he'll be the bonafide starter.

I wouldn't worry. I heard they bought a bunch of those "forever stamps" that are good anytime even of the postal rates go up.

What's the "ACT" Test like a champion one? LOL.

Here you go....This is how to take the ACT.... in order for you to understand just how much we want you at ND.

What other school does that?
