Elijah is scheduled to be on campus next week along with Brent, Byrne, Weishar, and Kizer.

Where do you get you're information? Whatever its making my night. Thank you sir! No better way to welcome him than with a few players who have already joined the family.

Okay I just checked out twitter and saw the tweet from ISD, but how do we know when every player is taking a UV? I can't find it on 24/7.

copied from the link NDworld posted and PSU hater alluded too.

It's a great and long list. In some ways it is too large- I feel we sell in a more personal way, so it would be nice for coaches to have alot of time with each player. Obviously that is impossible with that large of a crowd.

Probably cross Park, West, Kief, and some others off that list. I thought Morgan was going to camp this summer? No?

There are 'only' four 2014 impact defensive players on the list - Carter, Mouhon, Williams and Holley (assuming West isn't visiting anymore). With all of the 14' commits being on offense, the Mob could be crucial!

I'm VERY excited about the 2015 OL prospects. If we could land any combination of Tillery, Veal, Hoge and Fruhmorgen, combined with our 13' and 14' OL hauls, that would be RIDICULOUS.

True the staff does probably make more of an impression with more one on one time but I think they use the camp to gauge the interest of recruits so they don't waste time and resources pursuing kids who aren't very interested. The camp lets the kids see ND and decide if they would consider the school or if its not for them, and the staff gives more individualized attention from there.

If I'm not mistaken, there are several different camps going on over those days. So while it would be a lot of visitors if they were all at the same camp, they should be spread out over the 4 or so days of camps. Off the top of my head there was a kicking/specialists camp, a linemen camp, a skill position camp, plus a 7 on 7 tourney all scheduled on different days. The list I have in the thread NDWorld posted just lumped them all in one group rather than separating them because I was too lazy to figure out which date was what and when people would be there.

Cool, thanks. So would linemen be going to the Future Stars thing or Lineman's Challenge or perhaps both? Any idea how that's broken down?

I thought the Future Stars camp was invite-only, but after checking online it looks like anyone can sign up. My guess is OL/DL would go to both and use Saturday to check out the campus, academics, etc, or, they only do the Friday camp. It's probably a mixture with big-time guys like Carter only participating Friday and guys trying to earn a scholarship maybe doing both.

There is also a HS position camp that starts on Monday (6/23) and goes through Thursday (6/26). I am guessing a lot of the younger guys ('15 and '16) stick around for the whole week.

1. A lot of those kids are 2015 and coaches don't need to focus as much personal time with them.

2. You get a chance to get some current commits plus current players an opportunity to form a bond with top 2014 talent like Carter, Williams, Mouhan, etc.

Don't know if I'm the only one who missed this but one of Carter's coaches is former ND OL Sean Milligan. And he will be accompanying him on the visit. So... that's cool that there is a connection at least.

H/T to 247 on this info. Probably already stated by someone earlier in the thread but it is the first time I saw it.

It was mentioned. He is the freshman OL coach so he doesn't really work with Carter and Carter's position coach is a UGA graduate. Regardless, I agree it's great there is some connection there and great to hear he is accompanying him and Mouton on the visit (not previously mentioned).

Basically said Florida is up there with Georgia and Alabama, had a good visit. Too lazy right now to recap the rest but that's the important stuff.

Just to add his parents were really impressed with the academic side of UF and Lorenzo had this to say:

"They have an aerospace engineering program, and that is what I would really love to do," Carter said.

Man if we could land this kid, it would be fantastic! We need quality D-linemen now!!!!! Now I'm officially pissed at myself for posting about recuriting. I made a promise to myself after the whole Vanderturd saga that I wouldn't get involved in this again! Shame on me!!!!!!

WOOOOOO!!!!! Really serious curriculum. Almost nothing there that could be considered "filler", as is true if most engineering programs. I hope that young Mr. Carter is up for the challenge and applaud him for considering it. This reminded me of the Notre Dame Chemistry gauntlet. I never had a "relaxed" semester.

By the way, any commentary ASSUMING that Lorenzo is not capable of doing this is off-base and clearly a slap based upon no information on the young man at all. Just because a typical SEC jock couldn't handle it doesn't mean Carter can't.

Notre Dame will appeal to Lorenzo because we are a great school with many academic highclass opportunities for a young man of his high level skills.

Maybe this is my GA upbringing and having gone there, but if that was he serious intentions then he should stay in state and go to GT. One of the best engineering schools in the country, very highly regarded, lots of opportunities to challenge himself, and it's a pretty decent campus in the middle of Atlanta. Not to mention playing time aplenty.
