The camera mode options are actually pretty ****ing awesome. In addition to the "normal" camera, there's a 'zoom' (pictured here) and a Coordinator View that is the ****ing TRUTH. Can finally see both outside receivers get off the line!

Here's my thoughts on them:

-I really Golson is in the game. Going to need him online and in year 2 of a dynasty.
-Pumped about the running back ratings. Definitely giving them the benefit of the doubt.
-I hope Jones and Daniels are both 85+, same with Niklas and Koyack and the remaining three starters on the 0-line
-Tuitt is a bit underrated. I hope they overrate our backup d-linemen as well.
-Shembo is far too slow and I'm surprised Fox is an 87 with that speed.
-Jackson is underrated and I wish Russell had made our top 10 players.


Should be fun to play with ND again online though finally. As long as Golson is in the game and I can put Carlisle in the slot and have him be effective, it should be a good time online.

Looking at the 10 best players from each team video it does indeed appear that the speed rating is down across the board.

Just at a glance I did see a 97 speed player on Cal... GAIII went from a 97 last year to a 94. Slow players last year were in the 70's. This year they are in the 60's.

I actually like this... hopefully the game progresses this way also... I didn't like having three/four players with 99 speed on my team every year AND not even having them impact things the way they should as just about every elite program had multiple as well... (at least by year five or six into Dynasty)

This way if/when you get someone 99 it'll really show/ make an impact.

Very interesting, I always play on Heisman, for years now and yes this is a problem... I think I may leave it on Pro or whatever the default level is and mess with the sliders to see if this can be stopped without making the game far too easy ( I currently find it a bit easy on Hesiman).

I do however dispute the end of the video with the "well known" comeback AI... I always hear people complain about that.. in all the years i have been playing this game going back to Bill Walsh CFB I have never encountered some systematic comeback issue on the harder settings.

De'Anthony Thomas is a 98 speed guy and second fastest in the game. I'm not sure who #1 is. They said it was a Junior Olympian or World Athlete or whatever though.

Speed should be a lot more spread out this year which is great. There shouldn't be several people above 95 speed. I also like that the Overalls are lower in general. Talent is more spread out among a team rather than huge spikes with talented players.

BTW, is Danny Fox seriously rated as one of our top 10 players? WTF.

I just have a hard time justifying spending 60 bucks on what seems like only roster updates. Yea theres always a few new nice additions, but nothing that improves overall gameplay IMO.

I bought '13 and its fun but I see no reason to buy '14. The new recruiting and all looks cool but I don't think thats enough to buy the new game.

Hopefully another franchise can compete with EA and we start getting some better college athletics games.

Am I the only one who misses college basketball video games?

yeah, I live in a house with two football players in Denicos and Taiwon jones along with other 3 lacrosse players. Both the lacrosse team and football team at state are very close and we both take part in a community service outreach program together.
